Günümüzde küreselleşmenin de etkisi ile artan rekabet ve faaliyetlerini sürdürebilme gayreti firmaların daha ucuz, daha kısa sürede ve daha kaliteli ürünler üretmesini zorunlu kılmaktadır. Aynı zamanda her sektörde olduğu gibi otomotiv sanayinde de müşteri odaklı bir anlayışın hâkim olması firmaları yapısal bir değişimin içerisine itmektedir. Firmalar açısından bakıldığında müşteri memnuniyeti, müşteri isteklerinin zamanında ve eksiksiz olarak sunulması ile sağlanmaktadır. Dolayısıyla üretimde ya da süreçlerde oluşabilecek herhangi bir aksaklık müşteri memnuniyeti açısından olumsuz sonuçlar doğurabileceğinden bu duruma neden olabilecek faktörlerin önceden belirlenmesi ve önlem alınması önem arz etmektedir. Hata Türü ve Etkileri Analizi (FMEA), sorunların tespiti ve öncelik sıralamasının belirlenmesi ve hatanın önlenmesi için kullanılan en yaygın teknikler arasında yer almaktadır. FMEA, ürünün ya da sürecin geliştirilmesi sırasında potansiyel hataların tespit edilmesini, değerlendirilmesini ve hatalar henüz meydana çıkmadan buna engel olunmasını sağlayan çözümsel bir metottur. FMEA başka metotlar ile kıyaslandığında, sade ve kolay kullanımı ve hemen hemen her sektörde uygulanabilirliği bakımından önemli avantajlar elde etmektedir. FMEA ayrıca, sistemdeki bütün hata türlerinin iyileştirilmesinden ziyade, sisteme en çok katkı verecek olan hata türüne öncelik veren bir yöntemdir. Burada risk derecesine göre hatalara öncelik verilmesi, her hatanın analizi ve veri toplama işlemleri için gerekli olan ilave süreden ve işgücünden tasarruf edilmesini sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada; bir risk değerlendirme ve güvenilirlik metodu olan FMEA detaylı bir şekilde ele alınmakta ve bir otomotiv sanayi işletmesinde uygulaması gerçekleştirilmektedir. Nowadays, with the effect of globalization, the increasing competition and the effort to sustain its activities necessitate the companies to produce cheaper, shorter and better quality products. At the same time, as in every sector, a customer-oriented approach prevails in the automotive industry, pushing companies into a structural change. From the perspective of companies, customer satisfaction is ensured by the timely and complete presentation of customer requests. Therefore, any problems that may occur in production or processes may have negative results in terms of customer satisfaction and it is important to determine the factors that may cause this situation and take precautions. Fault Type and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is one of the most common techniques for detecting problems and determining priority ordering and preventing error. FMEA is an analytical method that allows the detection of potential errors during the development of the product or process and the prevention of errors before they occur. Compared to other methods, FMEA has significant advantages in terms of simple and easy operation and applicability in almost every sector. FMEA is also a method that prioritizes the type of error that will contribute most to the system rather than improving all types of errors in the system. Prioritizing errors according to the degree of risk here saves the additional time and labour required for analysis of each error and data collection. In this study; FMEA, which is a risk assessment and reliability method, is discussed in detail and implemented in an automotive industry enterprise.
