<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Öğrenci Profilinin Değerlendirilmesine Yönelik Bir Alan Araştırması “Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Örneği</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>ÖZET </strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Bu çalışma 2012-2013 eğitim-öğretim döneminde Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi’nin fakültelerinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin profilini belirlemek ve elde edilen veriler ışığında üniversitenin eğitim ve öğretim politikalarını geliştirmek, üniversite sosyal yaşamı ve şehre (Isparta) yönelik algılarını tespit etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada merkez kampüs (il merkezi) ve ilçeler arasındaki nicel ve nitel farklılıklar ve öğrenci profilinin daha net ortaya konulması amacıyla fakülte ve yüksekokul ayrımına gidilmiştir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda fakültelerde öğenim gören öğrencilerin demografik yapısı, sosyo-ekonomik durumları, üniversite öncesi öğrenim hayatı ve aileleri ile ilgili genel bilgiler tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Amaca yönelik örneklem setine uygulanan anketler doğrultusunda öğrencilerin öncelikle sosyal ve kültürel profilleri çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin, çoğunlukla kent kökenli ve ekonomik yönden düşük gelir seviyesine sahip ailelerden oldukları görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin önemli bir kısmı tercih ettiği bölümde okumaktadır. <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>A Field Study Assessing Student Profile Suleyman Demirel Unıversity Case</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>ABSTRACT </strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">This study establishes a profile of students at Süleyman Demirel University in 2012- 1013, with a view to developing educational policies and identifying the social situation in the city. This study reveals quantitative and qualitative differences between the profile of students in the faculties and the vocational schools on the central campus and those in the districts. For this purpose, the study used a questionnaire to identify the demographic structure, socioeconomic status, pre-university education and general information about the family life of the students. The results of the study show that most students come from low-income urban families. A significant number of students are studying in their department of preference. Their perceptions of the university and the city are positive.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Key Words: </strong>Suleyman Demirel University, Student profile, Student socio-economic status</p> |
