<p>Grafik kâğıt üzerinde tasarlanan takının yarı yumuşak veya köpük bir pano üzerinde iğne ile dokuma tekniği, ilk kez Diane Fitzgerald ve Helen Banes tarafından 1993 yılında ayrıntılı olarak “Beads and Threads: A New Technique for Fiber Jewelery” isimli kitapta anlatılmıştır. Ardından 1996 yılında, Donna Rhodes ve Kathy Stachowicz, “Pin-Weaving Creative Variations” isimli konuyla ilgili bir monografi yayınlanmıştır. İğneli dokuma taşınabilir olan çok az araç-gereç gerektirir. Kullanılan malzemeler hem ekonomik hem de hazır malzemelerdir. Köpük bir yüzey üzerinde, çözgü ve atkı iplerinin atkı yüzlü dokuma tekniği ile tercihen ipek ip (yün, pamuk veya sentetik ipte kullanılabilir) ve yine tercihen çelik toplu iğne kullanarak istenilen herhangi bir şekil oluşturulabilir. Doğal boncuklar, iğneli dokuma takı üretimi için son derece güzel sonuç vermektedir. Bu çalışmada; Meksika, Peru, Brezilya, Kolombiya v.b. gibi bazı yerli kabilelerde, Çin, Eski Mısır ve Anadolu'nun geleneksel sembolleri, motif ve objeleri kullanılarak üretilmiş olan iğneli dokuma tekniği ile yapılmış takılar örneklerle açıklanacaktır. </p> |

<p>Weaving technique with a needle on a semi-soft or a foam panel of a jewelry designed on a graph paper was first introduced broadly by Diana Fitzgerald and Helen Banes in 1993 in the book called “Beads and Threads: A New Technique for Fiber Jewelery”. Then in 1996, Donna Rodos and Kathy Stachowicz published a monograph “Pin-Weaving Creative Variations” regarding the topic. Needle-weaving can be done with little equipment and its materials are portable. Materials used are both economic and ready. In a necklace design, there are quite wide ranges of shape, size, and color possibilities. Left over threats and beads can be used to make other jewelry material coordinate pieces. Beads, needle, some decoration elements weaved together may create a striking Wearable Art product. Needle-weaved jewelries are produced in a great amount in ethnic communities since they use easily found materials. From these Native jewelries take a special place. In this study, in some native tribes of Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Columbia etc., needle-weaved ethnic jewelries made with traditional objects, motifs, and symbols of China, Ancient Egypt, and Anatolia will be explained with examples.</p> |
