dc.description Syncope and seizure share some clinical characteristics which may lead to diagnostic confusion. Here we report the case of a patient with carotid sinus syncope due to recurrent hypopharyngeal carcinoma which was misdiagnosed as epilepsy. (Archives of Neuropsychiatry 2010; 47: 354-5)
