<p>Bu çalışmada, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun “En Uzun Yüzyılı” olarak adlandırılan dönemin ikinci yarısında siyaset, eğitim ve basın hayatında etkili bir konuma sahip olan Mizancı Murad Bey ve onun Jön Türk hareketi ile olan ilişkisi konu alınmıştır. Aynı zamanda, üretmiş olduğu fikirler de kapsam içerisine dâhil edilmiştir. Murad Bey, Jön Türk grubu içerisinde yer alarak, Sultan 2. Abdülhamit yönetimine karşı muhalif bir tavır sergilemiştir, bu sebeple, çeşitli cezalara da çarptırılmıştır. Avrupa’ya geçtikten sonra, Jön Türklerin Cenevre kolunun başkanlığını yapmıştır. Yayıncılık hayatı ise, “Mizan” adını verdiği gazetesinde, fikirlerini yansıtması ile sürmüştür. Bunların dışında, çeşitli roman ve anıları ile döneme ışık tutacak eserler vermiştir</p> |

<p>In this study, the subject is Murad Bey, who has an effective position in politic, education and press life in the second period that is called as “The Longest Century” of Ottoman Empire and his relations with Young Turk Movement. At the same time, the ideas that he generated is included. Murad Bey showed an opposition attitude towards the administration of Sultan Abdulhamid the Second. In this reason, he received the various punishments. After he came to Europe, he presided to the Geneva Arm of Young Turks. The publishing life of him was maintained by reflecting his ideas in the newspaper that he called “Mizan”. Apart from these, he gave various novels and memoirs that will set light to the that period</p> |
