dc.description Patients on continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) and hemodialysis have accelerated atherosclerosis associated with an increase in cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Atherosclerosis is associated with increased arterial stiffness (AS), endothelial dysfunction and elevated oxidative stress (OS) and inflammation. We aimed to investigate the relationship between oxidative stress status, arterial stiffness, hepcidin and fibroblast growth factor-21 (FGF-21) levels in CAPD patients.
