dc.description For research of an opportunity forecasting of earthquakes and eruptions of mud volcanoes, monitoring of Rn-222, (and) Ra-226 in the springs and gryphones of the mud volcanoes and Rn-222, Rn-220 in the soil in the Taman Peninsula occasionally were carried out since 1995. Simultaneous measurements in two springs of the Western Caucasus and in the thermal spring of Southwest Turkey Rn-222 were started also. Simultaneous changes of Rn-222 concentration in water in Southwest Turkey and South Russia before regional earthquakes were obtained. Reduction of soil Rn-222 concentration in territory of mud volcanoes before occurrence of new gryphon was observed.
