| dc.description |
The charge symmetry which is one of the most important characteristics of the nuclear force, implies sigma((gamma,p))/sigma((gamma,n))= similar to 1.1 in the GDR range, with the slight deviation from unity being due to the contributions of the coulomb interaction. The He-4(gamma,n) reaction have been measured to try to resolve this discrepancy using the tagged photon facility at Maxlab (Lund, Sweden). |
