dc.description In this study, we investigated the drying of mint(Mentha longifolia) in equal weight samples in two different type of cabin dryers. Therefore, drying times effect parameters were compared the same type and same amount of both test samples separately while drying in each experiment set up. 60 degrees C and 0.8 - 1.5 m/s velocity air investigated upper and bottom blowing two different experiment set up in drying experiments. As a result of experiments, drying made with aupper-blowing was found to be shorter time than made with bottom-blowing. Also, drying made with a upper-blowing was found to be higher than made with bottom-blowing. These methods were performed into the two different dryer results and convenient model determined for mint. While Page model is convenient for upper-blowing, Wang and Sing model is giving optimum results for bottom- blowing.
