<p><strong>Radical Adult Education as Liberating Praxis and Its subject Female Adults</strong></p><p style="margin-left:141.6pt"><strong> H. Eylem KAYA<a href="#_ftn1" name="_ftnref1" title=""><strong>[1]</strong></a></strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p> </p><p>Regard to 21. Century neo-liberal global orders, especially when evaluated in terms of the ability to take part in education and employment, women are the disadvantaged gender. Then, other disadvantaged conditions such as disability, immigration, imprisonment and social exclusion are added to this context many times, the grievance and social exclusion in question are increasing. The face of the patriarchal society structure, which marginalizes women and limits them with the private space by dropping out of the public space, constitutes the most significant obstacles in front of the participation of women in education and employment. At this point, poverty and deprivation are feminized, the pressure of patriarchal attitude is radicalized via making itself feel more and the doors from the private space to the public space are closed to the woman’s face one by one without being opened. The feminized poverty and deprivation impregnate the feminized disadvantages for the access, attendance, and participation to learning opportunities into the present vicious cycle. Therefore, in this study, the significance and role of the radical practice of adult education for the female adults will be discussed within a dialectic, which transforms by liberating and liberates by transforming as well.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key words:</strong> Adult education, praxis, neoliberalism, patriarchy, female adult</p><p> </p><hr /><p><a href="#_ftnref1" name="_ftn1" title="">[1]</a> Assoc.
