970 Tu¨rkiye’sinin kadın sanatc¸ılarından birc¸ogˆu, du¨nyada yu¨kselen feminist hareketine kayıtsız kalmayarak sanat, bic¸em ve izlekleri ile Tu¨rkiye’deki erkek egemenligˆini, sanatın erkek tekelinde olus¸unu ve toplumun bu es¸itsizligˆe kayıtsız kalıs¸ını eles¸tirmis¸tir. 1980 darbesi ile susturulmaya ve bastırılmaya c¸alıs¸ılan o¨teki kimlikler bu hareketlenme ic¸inde haklarını aramaya daha uygun duruma gelmis¸tir. Bununla birlikte kadınların toplumdaki konumu, kent/ko¨y bagˆlamında kimlikleri, to¨re cinayetleri, go¨rsel ku¨ltu¨r ve kadın imgesi gibi olgular is¸lenmis¸tir. Hale Tenger ve I·pek Duben, kadın sorunu ve toplumsal cinsiyet es¸itligˆi u¨zerine yaptıkları c¸alıs¸malar ile birlikte, du¨nyada yu¨kselen feminist hareketinin Tu¨rkiye’nin sosyoku¨ltu¨rel ve gu¨ncel sanat ortamında da go¨ru¨nu¨r kılınmasına o¨rnek olmus¸lardır. Bu c¸alıs¸ma, 1970 sonrası gu¨ncel sanat ortamındaki gelis¸imin, Hale Tenger ve I·pek Duben’in kadın olgusu ve feminizm kavramına ilis¸kin is¸lerinin irdelenerek toplumsal boyuttaki etkilerini vurgulamak amacı ile gerc¸ekles¸tirilmis¸tir. Do¨nemin kadın sanatc¸ılarının is¸leri incelendigˆinde, o¨nce kendi kimlik ve ku¨ltu¨rlerini ele alarak ‘ben’ olgusu u¨zerinden kadın meselesini sorguladıkları, ardından Tu¨rk toplumunun ic¸inde bulundugˆu toplumsal es¸itsizligˆin farkına varmasını sagˆlayacak c¸alıs¸malar yaptıkları go¨zlenmis¸tir. |

<p><span style="font-family:calibri; font-size:9.000000pt">Many of the women artists of Turkey in 1970, have not remained indifferent to the emerging feminist movement in the world, have criticized male dominance, monopolizing art by men, society's indifference to this inequality by art, style and themes. Other identities have tried to be silenced and suppressed by the 1980 coup have become more suitable to seek their rights in this movement. However, the situation of women in the society, identities in the context of city/village, honour killings, visual culture and female images have begun to be studied. Hale Tenger and Ipek Duben, with their work on women's issues and gender equality in the emerging feminist movement to be visible in the socio-cultural environment and the contemporary art scene in Turkey. The aim of this study was emphasizing the development in contemporary art after 1970, the effects of Duben and Tenger on feminism and women phenomenon on the social dimension. When the works examined, it was observed that they have examined women discussing their own identity and culture, and then they made works to realize the social inequality. </span></p> |
