<p>En erken dönemlerde avladıkları hayvanların postlarından yararlanarak giysi yaptıkları görülmektedir. Giyim insanlıkla birlikte olan, ilkel toplumlardan çağdaş toplumlara geçerken önemini arttıran bir olgudur. Ayrıca, bir toplumun içinde yaşadığı coğrafi koşulların, kültürel ve ekonomik değerlerin, gelenek, göreneklerin en önemli doğal göstergelerinden biridir. Her uygarlığın, karakter ve yaşam biçimini etkileyen giyim kültürü, kendine has özellikler taşımaktadır. Kullandıkları dönem giysileri, sosyal, ekonomik, siyasi ve kültürel özelliklerini yansıtan önemli simgeleri barındıran bir araç konumundadır. Antalya ili Serik ilçesi geleneksel giysileri; dokumaları, işlemeleri, kullanılan yanışları ve insanların yaşayışlarını yansıtmaktadır. Bu da yöreye ait olan geleneksel giysilerin tarihi yönden önemli bir yere sahip olduğunu göstermektedir. Çalışmanın önemi, giysiler hem tarihe ışık tutarak hem de bu çalışmaların önemini yansıtarak yeni nesillere yön gösterecek olmasıdır. Bu anlamda, Antalya-Serik geleneksel giysileri teknik ve sanatsal açıdan kapsamlı bir alana yayılmaktadır.</p> |

<p>It is not known at what stage of history of humanity man started wearing clothes. It is seen people made clothes by using the skins of the animal they hunted at the earliest times. Clothing is a phenomenon which is associated with humanity and it grew in importance as mankind moved forward from primitive societies to contemporary societies. Besides, it is one of the most important natural indicators of geographical conditions, cultural and economic values, traditions and customs of a society. The clothing culture of each civilization, which affects its character and way of life, carries its own characteristics. The clothes they wear are mediums which contain important symbols reflecting their social, economic, political and cultural characteristics. The traditional clothes of Antalya- Serik district reflect the way of life of people with their weaving, embroidery, and ornament. This proves that the traditional clothes belonging to this region have a great importance in terms of history. The importance of this study is that it will guide new generations by both shedding light on the history of clothes and reflecting the importance of these studies. In this sense, the traditional clothes of Antalya-Serik district are spreading in a comprehensive technical and artistic way.</p> |
