Incest is defined as any form of sexual contact between immediate relatives without regarding the ages, and consent of the participants. The cases presented are two adolescents impregnated as a result of sexual abuse from their brothers (one case from the older brother and the other case from the younger brother). The adolescent who was impregnated by her older brother underwent abortus. The other adolescent on the other hand gave birth to her baby. The mental pathologies diagnosed in the adolescents are posttraumatic stres disorder, major depressive disorder, suicide and dissociative amnesia. Our presentation is a discussion of the psychological and social difficulties experienced by pregnant adolescents who were victims of incest. |
