dc.description Investigating the etiology of an enlarged lymph node still remains as a challenge for clinicians. Kikuchi disease is a self limited, benign disease, which is characterized by fever, cervical lymphadenopathy and transient leucopenia. Although the etiology is unknown, infections and autoimmunity have been suggested. The condition is diagnosed with excisional biopsy and histopathologic examination and can often be confused with malignant lymphoma. There is no specific therapy. It should be considered for the young patients with lympadenopathy and fever. A case who had persistent fever despite antimicrobial therapy was presented.
