<p>Küreselleşmeyle birlikte ulusal ve uluslararası pazarlarda rekabet avantajı elde edebilmek verekabeti sürdürülebilir hale getirmek için gelişmiş teknolojilerle ve yenilikçi faaliyetlerle ürünüretmek ve değişen talep doğrultusunda esnek üretim yapmak, küresel rekabette firmaları ve/yasektörleri avantajlı konuma getirmektedir. Çalışmada, Michael Eugene Porter’ın ulusal ve sektörelrekabetçiliği ortaya koymak için geliştirdiği Karo (Diamond) Modeliyle Isparta’da meyveciliksektörünün rekabet analizinin yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaca yönelik olarak, öncelikleIsparta’da önemli bir ekonomik faaliyet olan meyveciliğin mevcut durumu ortaya konulmuş veardından rekabet düzeyi tartışılmıştır. Karo Modeli faktörleri çerçevesinde oluşturulan anketformları, 47 büyük meyve üreticisiyle yüz yüze görüşülerek doldurulmuş ve ilgili diğer sektörlerintemsilcileriyle de görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Isparta’da meyvecilik sektörü ve ilişkili diğer sektörleraynı coğrafi bölgede doğal kaynağa ve girdilere yakın bir şekilde konumlanmış olmakla birlikte,sektör içinde ve sektörler arasında beraber çalışma kültürü gelişmediği için doğal bir yığın ortayaçıkmış ama kümeleşememiştir. Bu durum ise, sektörün bölgesel rekabet şansını azaltmaktadır.Bununla birlikte, sektördeki tüm aktörler arasında kolay ve sürekli bir iletişimin olması ve devletinsektörler arası birliktelikleri desteklemesi ve bu destekten yararlanmak için zorunlu olan aktörlerinbölgedeki mevcudiyeti Isparta’da meyvecilikteki yığın oluşumunun kümeye dönüşümünde vebölgesel rekabet gücünü artırmada önemli bir avantaj olarak değerlendirilmelidir.<br></p> |

<p>In order to gain competitive advantage in national and international markets through globalization,make the competition sustainable, produce products with advanced technologies and innovativeactivities and make a flexible production in line with changing demand make firms and / or sectorsadvantageous in global competition. This study aimed at analyzing a competitive analysis of fruitsector through the Diamond Model developed by Michael Eugene Porter in order to demonstratenational and sectoral competitiveness. For this purpose, the current situation of fruit sector, which isan important economic activity in Isparta, was put forward and analyzed its competition level wasdiscussed. The necessary data for the Diamond Model were gathered through face-to-face surveyswith 47 large fruit producers and in-depth interviews with the representatives of other related sectors.Although the fruit sector and related sectors have been located close to natural resources and inputsin the neighbourhood in Isparta, an ordinary agglomeration has emerged but it could not be clusteredbecause collaboration culture has not been developed in the sector and intersectoral. This factdecreases the regional competition chance of the sector. However, existence of an easy andcontinuously communication among all actors in the sector, state supports to sectoral cooperation /organizations, and actors who are compulsory for benefiting these supports in the region should beconsidered important advantages for a clustering and increasing regional competitiveness power offruit sector. <br></p> |
