Cryptocephalus (Burlinius) ayvazi sp. nov. is described from western Turkey The new species belongs to the heterogeneous group of prevalently dark coloured species of the subgenus Burlinius Lopatin, 1965. The chromatic pattern is similar to that of C. (B.) scapularis, but is readily distinguished by the peculiar shape of the aedeagus, having a bifurcated apex. |
