| dc.description |
Minerals (organic, organometallic, paramagnetic, ferro/ferri) present in soils have magnetic susceptibility. The objective of this study was to determine the effects of electromagnetic fields on some soil properties. The study area was selected in Isparta-Kuleonu, Turkey. The energy transmission line (ETL) of 154 kV (50 Hz) was assumed as the centre line and the grid method was used for soil sampling. The results showed that a significant relationship did not exist between magnetic field density (MFD) and soil properties (pH, cation exchange capacity (CEC), extractable potassium (Ext K), and available phosphorus (P)). |
