Günümüz Sünni İslam Dünyasındaki fıkıh mezhepleri incelendiğinde esas olarak mezheplerin dört kategoriye ayrıldığı görülmektedir. Bunlardan Hanefi mezhebi en çok yayılma imkanına sahip olan mezhep olmuştur. Bu çalışmada Sünni dünyanın fıkıh mezheplerinden olan Hanefi Mezhebi'nin en çok yayılma alanı bulmuş olmasının sebepleri inceleme konusu edilmektedir. Hanefi Mezhebi'nin İslam dünyasında bu denli geniş bir alanda tatbik edilmesi sekiz sebebe bağlanmıştır. Ebu Hanife'nin şahsi özelliklerinin etkisi, devletlerin resmi mezhep politikası, mezhebe olan bağlılık, mezhebin sosyal hayata olan yansıması, mezhebin erken dönemde kayda geçirilmiş olması, mezhep müntesipleri hakkında yapılan dedikodular, mezhep müntesiplerinin özellikle resmi kadılık görevinde bulunmaları, devlet yöneticilerinin bu mezhebe olan ilgilerinin sebepleri incelenmiştir. When the fiqh sects in today's Sunni Islamic world are examined, it is seen that the sects are mainly divided into four categories. The Hanafi sect is the most widespread sect. In this study, it was examined that the reasons of the spread of the Hanafi sect which is one of the fiqh sects of the Sunni world and why Hanafi sect is the most spread sect. In this regard, it has been linked to eight reasons that the application of the Hanafi sect in such a wide area in the Islamic world. The effect of personal characteristics of Abu Hanifa, official sectarian policy of states, commitment to sect, reflection of the sect on social life, record of the sect in the early period, rumors about sectarian members, sectarian followers who has been as official judgeships and the reasons of the interest of state administrators to this sect have been examined.
