Toplumda birbirlerinden farklı siyasi görüşteki bireyler, sahip olduğu görüşlerinden dolayı birbirlerine katı tutum sergileyerek, farklı siyasi kutuplara ayrılabilmektedirler. Böylelikle meydana gelen toplumsal kutuplaşma sorununun çözümlenebilmesi adına hangi sosyoekonomik faktörlerin kutuplaşmaya sebep olduğunun araştırılması önemli olmuştur. Buna ilişkin olarak tezin ilk iki bölümünde teorik bilgilere ve üçüncü bölümünde araştırmanın metodolojisiyle ilgili bulgularına yer verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde öncelikli olarak tutum konusunun anlaşılabilmesi için tutum ve siyasi tutumlar konusu hakkında sosyal psikoloji alanındaki kaynakların taranmasına dayanarak detaylı bilgiler verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, araştırmanın amacını yansıtan sosyoekonomik faktörlerin ılımlı ve katı siyasi tutumlara olan etkisinin nasıl olduğu literatürde yer alan bilgilere dayanarak açıklanmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde ise, Isparta seçmeni olan 521 hedef örneklemle anket uygulaması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Anket formunda yer alan 8 faktörün (aile yapısı, yaş, cinsiyet, gelir düzeyi, mesleki statü, ikamet yeri, ideolojik eğilim ve öğrenim durumu) ılımlı ya da katı siyasi tutumlu olmayı ölçen 8 soru ile çapraz hesaplanmasından elde edilen bulgulara yer verilmiştir. Buna göre, aile yapısı, yaş, cinsiyet, gelir düzeyi, mesleki statü, ikamet yeri, ideolojik eğilim ve öğrenim durumundan oluşan sekiz faktörden, bireylerin ılımlı ya da katı siyasi tutumlu olmalarında en çok aile yapısının, ideolojik eğilimin ve öğrenim durumunun etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Individuals with different political views in society can be divided into different political poles by adopting a strict attitude toward each other due to their views. Thus, to solve the social polarization problem, it has been important to investigate which socioeconomic factors cause polarization. In the first two parts of the thesis, theoretical information is given, and in the third part, results related to the methodology of the research are given. Concerning this, theoretical information is given in the first two parts of the thesis, and the findings are related to the methodology of the research in the third part. In the first part, detailed information is given on the subject of attitudes and political attitudes based on the scanning of the sources in the field of social psychology to understand the subject of attitude. In the second part, the effect of socioeconomic factors reflecting the purpose of the research on moderate and rigid political attitudes is explained based on the information in the literature. In the third part, a questionnaire application was carried out with a target sample of 521 Isparta voters. The findings obtained by cross-calculating the 8 factors (family structure, age, gender, income level, occupational status, place of residence, ideological disposition and educational status) in the questionnaire form with 8 questions measuring moderate or strict political frugality were included. Accordingly, family structure, ideological tendency and educational status factors were the most influential among eight factors, which are family structure, age, gender, income level, occupational status, place of residence, ideological tendency and educational status.
