dc.description In this study, a weft insertion system in air jet weaving looms was controlled by using fuzzy logic. The effects of yarn properties on weft yarn velocity along the tube have been investigated The effects of yarn linear density (tex) and value of twist coefficient on the change in weft yarn velocity are determined by the fuzzy logic system in air jet weaving looms. Experimental data and expert knowledge has been used in the establishment of the fuzzy logic model and the construction of basic principles. The results obtained from the fuzzy logic model are compared with experimental results.
