dc.description Purpose: Poor physical activity and decreased daily activities are commonly seen in hemodialysis (HD) patients. Along with the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD), various abnormalities of mineral and bone metabolism develop, such as osteitis fibrosa and adynamic bone disease, which are related with intact parathyroid hormone (intact-PTH). Surprisingly, scarce data exists regarding the relationship between intact-PTH and daily physical activity in HD patients.
