Bu araştırmanın amacı COVID-19 pandemi sürecinde uygulanan uzaktan eğitimde bilişim teknolojileri öğretmenlerinin yaşadıkları deneyimleri ortaya çıkarmaktır. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan durum çalışması deseni uygulandı. Araştırmada çalışma grubunu devlet ve özel okullarda çalışmakta olan toplam 20 öğretmen (7 kadın, 13 erkek) oluşturmaktadır. Veriler katılımcı öğretmenler ile internet üzerinden yapılan bire bir yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşmeler ile toplanmıştır. Toplanmış verilerin analizinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak katılımcıların büyük çoğunluğunun okullarda uzaktan eğitim hakkında seminerler verdiği ve meslektaşlarının kullanabilecekleri Web 2.0 araçları hakkında kılavuzlar hazırladıkları ortaya çıkmıştır. Katılımcıların yoğun bir şekilde meslektaşları, veliler ve öğrenciler ile iletişim halinde oldukları görülmüştür. İnternet altyapısının yetersizliği, öğrenci imkansızlıkları, maddi yetersizlikler ise süreç içinde yaşanılan sıkıntılardır. Katılımcılar öğrencilerin uzaktan eğitime kolayca uyum sağlamış olmaları ve kazanımlara ulaşmada yaşanan zorlukları vurgulamıştır. Bulgular da öğretmenlerin süreç içerisinde sosyalleşme, motivasyon, görev ve sorumlulukları ile ilgili görüşlerine de yer verilmiştir. Öneriler olarak bilişim teknolojileri dersine olan algı incelenebilir, velilerin derslere katılmasının sınıf yönetimine etkisi araştırılabilir. The aim of this research is to reveal the experiences of information technology teachers in distance education applied during the COVID-19 pandemic process. In this study case study design, which is one of the qualitative research methods was adopted. The participants consist of a total of 20 teachers (7 female and 13 male) working in public and private schools. Data were collected through one-on-one semi-structured interviews with participating teachers over the Internet. Content analysis was used in the analysis of the collected data. In the results, it was revealed that the majority of the participants gave seminars about distance education in the schools as well as prepared guides for their colleagues about Web 2.0. It was observed that participants were in intense communication with their colleagues, parents and students. The inadequacy of the Internet infrastructure, student impossibilities, and financial inadequacies were reported as the main problems experienced during the process. Participants emphasized the easy adaptation of students to distance education and the difficulties experienced in achieving learning outcomes. The findings also included teachers' views on socialization, motivation, duties and responsibilities with regards to distance education during the COVID-19 pandemic. As suggestions, the perception of the information technologies course can be examined, The effect of parents' participation in classes on classroom management can be investigated.
