dc.description The study area, located in the western part of the Tauride carbonate axis, consists mainly of Mesozoic to Tertiary autochthonous and allochthonous rock assemblages with Plio-Quaternary volcanics and pyroclastics deposits. The groundwater flow direction in the Isparta plain is generally from SW to NE. Water samples are classified as drinkable quality waters and can be considered as Ca-Mg-HCO3 and Ca-HCO3 type waters. In-situ measurements and hydrogeochemical analyses show that the waters in the area can be comparable with the drinking water standards. delta 18O and delta D isotope ratios of the waters plot along the continental meteoric water line and represent meteoric origin that are unaffected by evaporation. 3H values indicate that the waters are modern groundwaters.
