This material is a kind of poison that the giant monkey frogs in some areas of the Amazon rainforest, secrete from their skin when they are stressed. This poison was examined by IR spectroscopy and SEM-EDX. Probable assignment of bands was made with respect to the functional groups present in the raw and used samples via IR spectroscopy technique. Thus, changes in the samples were recorded before and after the application. In addition, SEM images of used and raw samples were recorded and changes in the samples were shown. Percent concentrations of the elements in the samples were determined with EDX. The percentage elemental change in the samples has been discussed and recorded for before and after the application. Thus, the elements transferred to the body were observed.
