dc.description ObjectiveIt was aimed to determine the characteristics of femoralanteversion and inclination angles of individualswho lived Anatolian geography in the inventory of themedical faculty anatomy main science laboratory.Materials and Methods45 femurs (27 male – 18 female) were selected fromthe anatomy laboratory. Femurs were grouped accordingto gender and sides. Photographs of each femurwere taken and digitized. Femoral anteversion angle(FAA) and femoral inclination angle (FIA) measurementswere taken using the Image-J program. With the SPSS 20, statistical data between genders andsides were determined and compared.ResultsIt has been shown in many studies that both FAA andFIA dimensions have lower values than the right sideof the left side and the female gender less than themale gender. However, according to our findings inour study, the p value was above 0.05 in comparingthe measurements of FAA and FIA measures betweenboth genders and the parties. Therefore, there was nosignificantly difference in the statistical data obtained.ConclusionAngular values of the femur may be related to manylower extremity pathologies. For this reason, femoralangle values for each society should be investigatedand values belonging to that society should be revealed.Especially in a society that is located in the transitionzone between Asia and Europe like our society,it is important to reveal the femoral angular values.
dc.description AmaçTıp Fakültesi Anatomi Ana Bilim Dalı laboratuvar envanterindebulunan Anadolu coğrafyasında yaşamışbireylerin femur anteversiyon ve inklinasyon açılarınınözelliklerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır.Gereç ve YöntemAnatomi laboratuvarında bulunan 27’si erkek 18’i kadıntoplam 45 femur üzerinde çalışıldı.
