Bladder cancer is the second most common cancer ofthe urogenital system. At the time of diagnosis, 25%of all bladder cancer has muscle invasion (MIBC).Gold standard treatment in MIBC is radical cystectomyand lymph node dissection. The type of urinarydiversion following radical cystectomy is decided byevaluating the individual health status and bladdercancer stage of the patients. In surgical anastomosis,attention should be paid to ureters’ blood supplies andureteral necrosis should be avoided. In this case, afterradical cystectomy, the use of appendix due to ureternecrosis in uretero-vesical anastomosis and literatureresults were reviewed. |

Mesane kanseri ürogenital sistemin en sık görülenikinci kanseridir. Tanı anında %25’ i kasa invaze(KIMK) olan mesane kanserinde altın standart tedaviradikal sistektomi ve lenf nodu diseksiyonudur. Radikalsistektomi sonrası uygulanacak üriner diversiyontipine hastaların bireysel sağlık durumu ve mesanekanseri evresi değerlendirilerek karar verilir. Üreteranastomuzu esnasında beslenmesine dikkat edilmelive üreter nekrozundan kaçınılmalıdır. Bu olguda radikalsistektomi sonrası erken dönemde gelişen üreternekrozunda üreterovezikal anastomozda apendikskullanımı ve literatür sonuçları taranmıştır. |
