dc.description A facile and non-enzymatic electrochemical sensor is developed by the simple electrodeposition of Prussian Blue (PB) on conductive indium tin oxide coated polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate. The conductive flexible thin film based on PB were prepared with electrochemical deposition from acidic solution containing a mixture ferric and ferricyanide ions and characterized by Scanning Electron Microscopy-Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy, Attenuated Total Reflection-Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction analyses. The electrochemical performance of the flexible PB thin film is evaluated in 0.1 M KNO3 liquid electrolyte medium using the Cyclic Voltammetry method. A sensitive method of design in the non-enzymatic electrochemical glucose sensor is attained as the decrease in current by increasing glucose concentration. The electrochemical response of the prepared flexible thin film is the limit of detection is 0.4 mu M (S/N = 3), and the sensitivity is 2.46 mu A/mM cm(2). The regression square value is 0.9982. Cost-efficiently, appropriate conditions and biocompatibility ensure the PB-based flexible thin films directly deposited on flexible substrates an encouraging platform for wearable non-enzymatic glucose sensors.
