Bu çalışmanın amacı, özel eğitim öğretmenlerinin STEM uygulamalarına yönelik özyeterlik inançları ile eğitim teknolojileri yeterlik düzeylerini belirlemek, aralarındaki ilişkileri tespit etmek ve bir takım demografik özelliklere göre kıyaslamaktır. İlişkisel tarama yöntemiyle desenlenmiş bu araştırmanın örneklemini Aydın ilinde görev yapmakta olan 482 özel eğitim öğretmeni oluşturmuştur. Veriler, kişisel bilgi formu, STEM Uygulamaları Öğretmen Öz yeterlik Ölçeği ve Öğretmenlerin Eğitim Teknolojileri Yeterliliklerini Belirleme Ölçeğinden oluşan çevrim içi anket yoluyla toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizi sonucunda özel eğitim öğretmenlerinin STEM özyeterliklerinin orta düzeyde eğitim teknolojileri yeterliklerinin ise iyi düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin STEM özyeterliğinin cinsiyet, kıdem ve mesleği seçme sebeplerine göre anlamlı değişmediği ancak mezun oldukları liselere göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği görülmüştür. Özel eğitim öğretmenlerinin eğitimde teknoloji kullanımı yeterliklerinde cinsiyet ve kıdeme göre anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuş ancak mezun olunan lise türüne ve öğretmenlik mesleğini seçme nedenine göre anlamlı bir farklılık bulunamamıştır. Eğitimde teknoloji kullanımı yeterliklerinin, STEM özyeterliği ile pozitif yönde ve orta düzeyde anlamlı ilişkili olduğu ve toplam varyansın %21'ini açıkladığı tespit edilmiştir. The purpose of this study is to determine special education teachers' STEM self-efficacy beliefs and educational technology use competencies, to examine the relationships between them and to compare them according to some demographic characteristics. It was designed as cross-sectional survey research and its sample was made up of 482 special education teachers working in the city of Aydın, Turkey. Data were collected through an online questionnaire including personal information form, Teacher Self-efficacy Scale for STEM Practices and Teachers' Educational Technology Competency Scale. As a result of the data analysis, it was seen that special education teachers had medium level of STEM self-efficacy and good level of educational technology competencies. Teachers' STEM self-efficacy did not change significantly according to gender, seniority and the reasons for choosing the teaching profession, but differed significantly according to the type of high school they graduated from. Significant differences were found in special education teachers' educational technology competencies according to gender and seniority, but no significant difference was found according to the type of high school graduated and the reason for choosing the teaching profession. It was determined that special education teachers' educational technology competencies were positively and significantly related to STEM self-efficacy beliefs, explaining 21% of the total variance.
