Masallar anonim olan sözlü anlatım ürünleridir ve derleme çalışmalarıyla yazıya geçirilmişlerdir. Masallar içinde barındırdığı kültürel ögeler ile değerler eğitiminin öğretilmesi hususunda bir altın kıymetindedir. Değer, kültürü de içinde barındıran somut bir olgudur. Birey dünyaya geldiği andan itibaren önce ailede, daha sonra da okul hayatı ve sosyal hayatında öğrendiği değerleri içselleştirip davranışlarına yön verir. Değerler kişiye yol gösteren bir rehberdir. Değerler eğitiminin küçük yaştan itibaren bireye verilmesi hem bireyin kendisinin hem de yaşadığı toplumun geleceği için çok önemlidir. "Çocuklar, bizim gelecekteki köklerimizdir. Çocuklara verdiğimiz eğitim, bizim gelecekte nasıl bir toplum istediğimizle sıkı sıkıya ilintilidir." (Sever, 2000 s.40) Değerler zamana göre şekillenebilen olgulardır. Değer yıllar geçtikçe değişebilir, düzenlenebilir. Yaşadığımız çağda değerler eğitiminin insan üzerindeki yoksunluğu sebebiyle büyük sıkıntılar ortaya çıkmaktadır. Yaşanılan değer buhranının sebebi ilişkilerin kopma aşamasına gelmesidir. Bu hususta en büyük rol teknolojinindir. Teknolojinin gelişmesiyle iletişim seviyesi düşmüştür. Geçmişte büyüklerden dinlediği masallarla zamanlarını eğlenceli hale getiren çocuklar şimdi bilgisayar telefon ile iç içedir. Dinlediği masallardaki kültürel unsurları, değerleri öğrenen çocuk insani, ahlaki, milli ve dini değerlerle donanımlı olarak büyür. İyi yetiştirilen bireyler toplumun temelini oluşturur. İyi insan, iyi toplumun mihenk taşıdır. Daha güçlü bir toplum daha iyi bir gelecek istiyorsak bu konuya kıymet vermeli büyük bir önem ve titizlikle üzerinde durmalıyız. Tales are products of oral expression that are anonymous and have been written down through compilation studies. Fairy tales are a golden value in teaching values education with the cultural elements they contain. Value is a concrete phenomenon that includes culture. From the moment the individual is born, he internalizes the values he has learned first in the family, then in his school life and social life and directs his behavior. Values are a guide that guides the person. Giving values education to the individual from an early age is very important for the future of both the individual and the society in which lives. "Children are our future roots. The education we give to children is closely related to what kind of society we want in the future." (Sever, 2000 s.40) Values are phenomena that can be shaped according to time. The value can change over the years, it can be edited. In the age we live in, great difficulties arise due to the deprivation of values education on people. The reason for the value crisis experienced is that the relations have come to the breaking stage. The reason for the experienced value crisis is that the relations have come to the breaking stage. The biggest role in this regard is technology. With the development of technology, the level of communication has decreased. Children, who used to make their time fun with the fairy tales they heard from adults in the past, are now intertwined with computers and phones. The child, who learns the cultural elements and values in the tales she listens, grows up equipped with humane, moral, national and religious values. Well-educated individuals form the basis of society. A good person is the cornerstone of a good society. If we want a stronger society and a better future, we should value this issue and focus on it with great care and attention.
