<p>General Directorate of Forestry has been implemented stumpage sale to reduce production costs and production processes and impairmentlosses experienced in the post, to shorten the lengthy process of marketing, to make production according to market demand and to reconstructthe forest villagers since 1996. In this study, the stumpage sale has been tried to reveal the strengths and weaknesses according to the postproduction of raw wood materials sales. Within Artvin and Muğla Regional Directorate of Forestry, 3 stumpage sales analysed and comparedwith post-production of raw wood materials sales in terms of economic situations. On the other hand, unstructured interviews were conductedfor data collections. According to the study results; stumpage sale has not been given the expected useful results. Therefore, new regulationsshould be made on stumpage sale. <br></p> |
