dc.description Fishbone ingestion causes significant morbidity and mortality. Patients usually present with dysphagia and cough. The diagnosis is made by direct X-ray graphy or computed tomography (CT) of the head and neck. We report the radiological imaging findings of the fishbone that penetrated the esophagus and reached the right lobe parenchyma of the thyroid in a 64-year-old female patient who swallowed a fishbone.
