Bu çalışmada Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Dergisi’nde yer alan yayınların bibliyometrik özelliklerini incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın verilerini, Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Dergisi’nde 2013-2023 yılları arasında yayımlanmış 531 çalışma oluşturmaktadır. Özgün araştırma, derleme, olgu sunumu, kitap/tez tanıtımı ve editöre mektup türündeki tüm çalışmalar bu çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Çalışmaya dahil edilen yayınlar; çalışma sayısı, çalışma türü, yayın dili, yayın yapılan fakülteler, toplam yazar sayısı, atıf sayısı ve çalışmanın kapsamı gibi değişkenler açısından analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi, NCSS (Number Cruncher Statistical System) 2007 Statistical Software (Utah, USA) paket programı kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada, dergide yıllık olarak yayınlanan çalışma sayısının 2019-2020 yıllarında en üst seviyeye ulaştığı ve yayınlanan çalışmaların büyük bir kısmını araştırma makalelerinin oluşturduğu saptanmıştır. Çalışmada yayın dilinin çoğunlukla Türkçe olduğu belirlenmiştir. Fakültelerin yıllara göre çalışma dağılımı incelendiğinde, özellikle Tıp Fakültesi ve Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi'nin daha yoğun bir araştırma faaliyeti gösterdiği gözlemlenmiştir. Çalışmalardaki yazar sayıları incelendiğinde ise en düşük ve en yüksek ortalama yazar sayılarının 2,71 ve 3,53 arasında olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışmada, tüm yıllara ait atıflar incelendiğinde, son yıllarda atıf sayılarında azalma belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgular, Sağlık Bilimleri Dergisi'nin yayın faaliyetlerini kapsamlı bir şekilde değerlendirerek, derginin akademik etki düzeyini ve bilimsel topluluğa sunduğu katkıları ortaya koymaktadır. |

The aim of this study was to investigate the bibliometric characteristics of the publications in Süleyman Demirel University Journal of Health Sciences. The data of the study consisted of 531 studies published in Süleyman Demirel University Journal of Health Sciences between 2013 and 2023. All studies in the types of original research, review, case report, book/thesis introduction and letter to the editor were included in this study. The publications included in the study were analysed in terms of variables such as number of studies, type of study, language of publication, faculty of publication, total number of authors, number of citations and scope of the study. The data were analysed using the NCSS (Number Cruncher Statistical System) 2007 statistical software package (Utah, USA). The study found that the number of articles published annually in the journal reached its highest level in the years 2019-2020, and that most of the published studies consisted of research articles. It was found that the language of publication was mostly Turkish. When the distribution of the studies was examined according to the years of the faculties, it was found that the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Health Sciences in particular showed a more intensive research activity. When analysing the number of authors in the studies, the lowest and highest average number of authors was between 2.71 and 3.53. When analysing citations for all years, a decrease in the number of citations was observed in recent years. The results of the study reveal the academic impact of the journal and its contributions to the scientific community by comprehensively evaluating the publication activities of the Journal of Health Sciences. |
