Pisidia Antiokheia'sı Roma İmparatorluk Dönemi Kadın Heykelleri adlı Tez çalışmasında; Isparta İli Yalvaç ilçesinde yer alan Pisidia Antiokheia'sı Antik Kentinde, 1908 yılından bugüne kadar yapılan kazılarda ele geçen kadın heykellerinin araştırma ve çalışma literatürünün çıkarılması, heykellerin tarihlendirilmesi, buluntu ve bulgular ışığında yerel heykel atölyesi ile ilgili soru ve sorunlara çözüm getirilmesi, amaçlanmıştır. Antoninuslar dönemine tarihlendirdiğimiz eserlerden bazıları İsmail Karamut tarafından Dokimeion Atölyesi bağlamında araştırılmıştır. Toplamda yirmi-dokuz heykeltraşlık eserden oluşan katolog çalışmasında; üç tanesi Giyimli Kadın heykeli olarak adlandırılmış olup Antoninuslar dönemine, üç tanesi Tanrıça Heykellerine ait olup Iulius-Cladiuslar dönemine, Kadın portreleri dört tane olup üç tanesi Iulius Caldiuslar dönemi, bir tanesi Antoninuslar dönemine ait oldukları saptanmıştır. Kadın başı fragmanları olarak sınıflandırdığımız eserler dört tane olup üç tanesi Antoninuslar, bir tanesi ise Iulius-Cladiuslar dönemine tarihlendirilmiştir. Giyimli Kadın Heykeli Fragmanları oniki tane olup bunlardan G.K.H.F.1 Roma Cumhuriyet dönemi, dört tanesi Iulius Cladiuslar dönemi, dört tanesi Antoninuslar dönemi ve üç tanesi Severuslar dönemi heykeltraşlık eserlerinden oluşmaktadır. Eserlerden farklı olarak yerel atölye ile ilişkili, çıraklık eğitimi için deneme amaçlı kullanılan, üç adet ayak fragmanı da katalog çalışması kapsamında değerlendirilmiştir. Giyimli Kadın Heykelleri olarak adlandırdığımız üç eserin (Cornelia Antonia Heykeli dahil olmak üzere) yerli halkın ileri gelen ailelerine ve dört kadın portresinden iki tanesinin özel, iki tanesinin tanrıçalara, Kadın başı fragmanları olarak isimlendirdiğimiz dört parçanın tamamının ise özel kadın portrelerine ait oldukları anlaşılmıştır. Tez Çalışması sonucunda; Yalvaç Müzesi'nde sergilenen Roma İmparatorluk Dönemi Kadın Heykellerinin araştırma ve çalışma literatürleri çıkarılmıştır. Kadın heykelleri kataloglandırılarak, teknik ve üslup analizleri yapılmış olup Roma İmparatorluğu'nda hangi hanedanlık dönemine ait oldukları saptanmıştır. Benzer örneklerin saptanması ile dönemsel teknik işçilik analizleri yapılarak tarihlendirmeye gidilmiştir. As a result of the dissertation work, research and study literature of women's sculptures of the Roman Imperial period exhibited in the Yalvaç Museum was published. Female sculptures were catalogued, technical and stylistic analyses were made and it was determined which dynastic period they belonged to in the Roman Empire. By detecting similar samples, periodic technical analysis of Labor was carried out and dated. Questions and problems related to the existence of the sculpture workshop were also evaluated and solved by evaluating the works associated with the Dokimeion workshop.
