Günümüzde mutluluk ekonomik kalkınmanın en temel göstergelerinden biri haline dönüşmektedir. Buradan hareketle özellikle davranışsal iktisat alanı kapsamında mutluluk çalışmaları her geçen gün artmaktadır. Literatürden hareketle mutluluğun belirleyicilerini sosyo ekonomik faktörler, ekonomik faktörler ve çevresel ve kurumsal faktörler olarak gruplandırmak mümkün olmaktadır. Bunun yanı sıra son üç yıldır dünya; sosyo ekonomik faktörler, çevresel ve kurumsal faktörler ve ekonomik faktörleri etkileme yoluyla bireylerin mutluluk düzeyini de önemli düzeyde etkileyen COVID-19 salgını ile karşı karşıya kalmıştır. Buradan hareketle çalışmada çalışmada literatürde mutluluk ile ilişkili olduğu belirtilen sosyo ekonomik faktörler, kurumsal faktörler ve ekonomik faktörlerin COVID-19 döneminde de mutluluk ile ilişki içerisinde olup olmadığının değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışma 4 bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde iktisat ve psikoloji iliŞkisi ve davranışsal iktisat alanı kısaca değerlendirilmiş olup, ikinci bölümde mutluluk, yaşam memnuniyeti gibi kavramlar üzerinde durularak mutluluğun ölçümü ve temel belirleyicileri açıklanmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde Covid-19 salgınının etkileri incelenmiŞtir. Dördüncü bölümde ise, araştırmanın analiz kısmı yer almaktadır. ÇalıŞmanın kapsamını Isparta ilinde yaşayan 18 yaş ve üzerinde olan bireyler oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın analizi için katılımcılara 21 adet soru sorulmuştur. Çalışmada elde edilen verilerin analizi için SPSS 23 istatistik programı kullanılmıŞtır. Veriler ki-kare yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiŞtir. Sonuç olarak, COVID-19 salgını döneminde, çalıŞmada kullanılan sosyo ekonomik, ekonomik ve kurumsal faktörler ile mutluluk ve yaşam memnuniyeti arasında anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiŞtir. Today, happiness turns into one of the most basic indicators of economic development. From this point of view, happiness studies are increasing day by day, especially within the scope of behavioral economics. Based on the literature, it is possible to group the determinants of happiness as socio-economic factors, economic factors, and environmental and institutional factors. In addition to this, the world for the last three years; has faced the COVID-19 epidemic, which also significantly affects the happiness level of individuals by influencing socio-economic factors, environmental and institutional factors and economic factors. From this point of view, in the study, it is aimed to evaluate whether socio-economic factors, institutional factors and economic factors, which are stated to be related to happiness in the literature, are also in a relationship with happiness in the period of COVID-19. The study consists of 4 parts. In the first part, the relationship between economics and psychology and the field of behavioral economics are briefly evaluated, and in the second part, concepts such as happiness and life satisfaction are emphasized, and the measurement of happiness and its main determinants are explained. In the third chapter, the effects of the Covid-19 epidemic were examined. In the fourth chapter, there is the analysis part of the research. The scope of the study consists of individuals aged 18 and over living in the province of Isparta. For the analysis of the study, 21 questions were asked to the participants. SPSS 23 statistical program was used for the analysis of the data obtained in the study. Data were analyzed using the chi-square method. As a result, a significant relationship was found between the socio-economic, economic and institutional factors used in the study and happiness and life satisfaction during the COVID-19 epidemic period.
