Bu çalışmada Müslüman bireylerin ibadetlere devam sıklığı ile ahlâkî olgunluk ve psikolojik iyi olma hali arasındaki ilişkinin araştırılmasıyla beraber, ibadetlere devam sıklığı ve psikolojik iyi oluş ile demografik değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler de incelenmiştir. Bu araştırmada, katılımcılardan demografik değişkenlere dair verilerin toplanabilmesi amacıyla araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan "Kişisel Bilgi Formu"; ahlâkî olgunluk düzeylerinin ölçülebilmesi için "Ahlakî Olgunluk Ölçeği" ve mevcut iyi oluş ile sosyo-psikolojik iyi oluşlarını ölçme amacıyla "Psikolojik İyi Oluş Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Yöntem olarak ise "betimleyici karşılaştırmalı ve ilişkisel tarama modeli" kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın evrenini Türkiye'de yaşayan İslam dini mensubu olduğunu düşünen bireyler, örneklemini ise bu evrenden tesadüfî ve kartopu örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlemiş olan yaşları 18-77 arasında değişen 250 kadın, 150 erkek olmak üzere 400 katılımcı oluşturmuştur. Çalışmada ölçekler ile elde edilen veriler, SPSS istatistikî analiz programı ile analiz edilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları, ibadete devam sıklığı ile ahlâkî olgunluk arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki olduğunu göstermiştir. Buna göre katılımcıların ibadete devam sıklığı arttıkça ahlâkî olgunluk ölçeğinden alınan puanlar da yükselmiştir. Ayrıca katılımcıların namaz ibadeti sıklığı, hac ibadeti için çaba gösterme düzeyi ve dua etme sıklığı ile psikolojik iyi oluş puanları arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Diğer yandan katılımcıların psikolojik iyi oluş puanları ile oruç, zekât ve kurban ibadeti arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmamıştır. In this study, despite the fact that this research aiming at the relationship between the muslim individuals continuation frequence to their worshipping and moral maturity and psychological well-being has been made, it has also been dealt with the relationships between psychological well-being and the demographic variables. In order that the data can be collected as to the demographic variables on the part of the participants, it has been used "Personal Information Form" prepared by the present researcher and in addition "Moral Maturity Scale" for their moral maturity levels to be able to be measured and "Psychological Well-Being Scale" for their present well-being and their socio-psychological well-beings to be able to be measured have been utilized. As for the method, "the descriptive contrastive and relative scanning model" has been utilized. The global contents of this study is made up of the individuals living in Turkey who think of themselves to be the members of Islamic religion, on the other hand, it's illustration is formed of 400 participants of whom are 250 women aging from 18 to 150 men on the basis of the methods known as accidental and snowball ones. The data obtained through use of the scales have been analyzed and commented by the SPSS statistical analysis program. The consequences of the research have indicated that there has been a positive and meaningful relationship between the frequency of continual worshipping and moral maturity. Accordingly, as the frequency of continual worshipping on the part of the participants increases, the points obtained from the moral maturity scale rises. Separately, it has been notired that there has been a meaningful relationship in a positive way amongst prayer worshipping frequency, the level of effort for pilgrimage, frequency of praying and psychological well-being points. On the other hand, not any meaninful relationship has been met between the psychological well-being points and fast, distribution of one fortieth of one's income as alms and worshipping by animal sacrifice.
