Hayatımızın her alanında etkin bir şekilde bulunan denetim kavramı devlet içinde önemli bir yer teşkil etmektedir. Yapılan denetim çalışmalarıyla otorite sağlanmaktadır. Vergilendirme işlevinin güvenilir ve doğru şekilde olması için bir takım vergi denetim işlemlerine ihtiyaç duyulmuştur. Bu denetim işlemlerinin etkin ve düzenli kullanılması ile birlikte hem devlet açısından hem de mükellef açısından yararlı olmaktadır. Gerçekleştirilen denetim işlemleri ile beraber çıkan hatalar doğrultusunda devlet tarafından uygulanan cezai işlem yaptırımları sonucunda mükellefler vergiye uyum göstermeye başlamıştır. İleri teknolojik unsurların da etkisiyle vergi denetimin etkinliği artmış ve hilelerin önüne geçilmiştir. Bu çalışmada ileri teknolojik unsurların vergi denetim faaliyetlerinde ne ölçüde etki sağlayacağı incelenmiştir. Teknolojik unsurlar sayesinde denetim işlemlerinin daha kolay, hızlı ve güvenilir yapılabilmesi esas alınmıştır. The concept of control, which is effective in all areas of our lives, has an important place in the state. Authority is ensured by the audit work carried out. In order for the taxation function to be reliable and accurate, a number of tax audit procedures were needed. With the effective and regular use of these audit procedures, it is beneficial both for the state and for the taxpayer. Taxpayers have started to comply with the tax as a result of the penal action sanctions applied by the state in line with the errors that emerged with the audit procedures. With the effect of advanced technological elements, the efficiency of tax audit has increased and frauds have been prevented. In this study, it has been examined to what extent advanced technological elements will affect tax audit activities. It is based on the fact that auditing processes can be made easier, faster and more reliable thanks to technological elements. As a result of the study, it was determined that Industry 4.0 components increase efficiency and effectiveness in auditing. Keywords: Tax Audit, Tax Auditors, Industry 4.0
