Geçmişten günümüze kadar olan süreçte ilerlemesini hızla sürdüren teknolojik gelişmeler, aynı zamanda yeni ürün ve hizmetlerin pazara sunulmasını mümkün kılmıştır. Teknolojik gelişmelere uyum sağlamaya çalışan ve bu süreci benimseyen sektörlerden birisi de turizm sektörüdür. Turizm sektörü başlı başına çok geniş bir faaliyet alanını kapsamaktadır ve her kesimin ihtiyaçlarına uygun hizmetleri içerisinde barındırmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın araştırma kapsamını daha küçük bir alana hitap eden ve genel olarak iç turizm faaliyetlerinde aktif şekilde yer alan kamu misafirhaneleri oluşmaktadır. Bu araştırmada kamu misafirhanesi çalışanlarının dijitalleşmeye yönelik bakış açılarının, dijitalleşme sürecindeki tutumları üzerindeki etkilerinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra çalışanların demografik bulgularının bakış açısı ve tutum üzerindeki etkileri de incelenmiştir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmış olup, verilerin toplanmasında yüz yüze anket tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Öncelikle konuya ilişkin doküman ve kaynak inlemesi gerçekleştirilmiş kavramsal bir çerçeve oluşturulmuştur. Turizm sektörü ve dijitalleşme süreçleri geçmişten günümüze doğru ele alınmıştır. Sonraki süreçte araştırmanın evrenine yönelik literatür taramaları yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Batı Akdeniz Bölgesinde hizmet vermekte olan kamu misafirhanesi çalışanları oluşturmaktadır. Tüm evrene ulaşma konusunda sınırlılıkların olması nedeniyle örnekleme yöntemlerinden kolayda örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen anket verilerinin analizi sonucunda personelin dijitalleşme sürecine olan bakış açısı ile dijitalleşme süresinde oluşturduğu tutum değeri üzerinde anlamlı etkilerin olduğu ve bu etkilerin demografik özelliklere göre değişim gösterdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. En belirgin olarak elde edilen sonuçlardan bir diğeri ise erkeklerin dijitalleşmeye yönelik tutum düzeyinin kadınların tutum düzeyinden daha yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmış olmasıdır. Technological developments, which continue to progress rapidly from the past to the present, have also made it possible to introduce new products and services to the market. One of the sectors that try to adapt to technological developments and adopt this process is the tourism sector. The tourism sector itself covers a very wide field of activity and includes services suitable for the needs of all segments. The research scope of this study consists of public guesthouses that appeal to a smaller area and are generally actively involved in domestic tourism activities. In this research, it is aimed to determine the effects of public guesthouse employees' perspectives on digitalization on their attitudes in the digitalization process. In addition, the effects of the demographic findings of the employees on the perspective and attitude were also examined. Quantitative research method was used in the research, and face-to-face survey technique was used to collect data. First of all, a conceptual framework was created by examining documents and resources on the subject. The tourism sector and digitalization processes are discussed from the past to the present. In the next process, literature searches were made for the universe of the research. The population of the research consists of the employees of the public guesthouses serving in the Western Mediterranean Region. Since there are limitations in reaching the whole universe, the convenience sampling method, one of the sampling methods, was used. As a result of the analysis of the survey data obtained, it has been concluded that there are significant effects on the perspective of the personnel on the digitalization process and the attitude value created during the digitalization period, and these effects vary according to the demographic characteristics. Another of the most obvious results is that the attitude level of men towards digitalization is higher than the level of attitude of women.
