Covid-19 pandemisi 2019 yılının Aralık ayında Çin'in Wuhan kentinde ortaya çıkmış ve hızla tüm dünyaya yayılmıştır. Pandemi sürecinde sağlık hizmetleri korku ve endişe, hastalığını önemsiz görme ve kısıtlamalar gibi nedenler ile ertelenmeye başlanmıştır. Ertelenen sağlık hizmetlerinin Covid-19 dışı hastalıklara sahip olan bireylerin hastalıklarının ilerlemesine ve yeni hastalıkların teşhisinin gecikmesine sebep olacağı düşünülmektedir. Bu kapsamda sağlık hizmetinin ertelenmesine etki eden faktörlerin bilinmesi sağlık hizmetlerinin sürekliliği açısından önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada Covid-19 pandemisi nedeniyle bireylerin sağlık hizmeti erteleme davranışlarını ve erteleme eğilimlerini tespit ederek, ilgili değişkenler ile ilişkisini ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Isparta il merkezinde ikamet eden 18 yaş ve üstü bireyler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında Isparta il merkezinde ikamet eden bireylere kolayda örnekleme yöntemiyle ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmış olup veri toplama aracı olarak anket tekniğinden yararlanılmış ve toplamda 542 kişiye ulaşılmıştır. Analizler sağlık hizmetlerini erteleyen 320 kişi üzerinden yapılmıştır. Çalışmada, literatür taraması sonucunda araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan anket kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucuna göre, katılımcıların sağlık hizmetini en fazla hastanede Covid-19'a yakalanmaktan korkma, hastanelerin kalabalık olması ve Covid-19 sürecinde sağlıkla ilgili endişe duyma nedenleri ile erteledikleri tespit edilmiştir. Korku ve endişe boyutu ile yaş, eğitim durumu, meslek ve kronik hastalık değişkenleri arasında; kısıtlamalar boyutu ile medeni durum ve meslek değişkenleri arasında; hastalığını önemsizleştirme boyutu ile meslek değişkeni arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur. Ayrıca hastalığın şiddet düzeyi ile korku ve endişe, kısıtlamalar ve hastalığını önemsizleştirme boyutu; yaş ile korku ve endişe ve kısıtlamalar boyutu; aşı dozu ile korku ve endişe boyutu arasında anlamlı ilişkiler olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bir başka önemli sonuç ise katılımcıların pandemi sürecinde en fazla poliklinik, diş bakımı ve rutin kontrolleri ertelemiş olmasıdır. The Covid-19 pandemic emerged in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and quickly spread all over the world. During the pandemic process, health services started to be postponed due to fear and anxiety, trivializing the disease and restrictions. It is thought that postponed health services will cause the progression of the diseases of individuals with non-Covid-19 diseases and delay the diagnosis of new diseases. In this context, knowing the factors affecting the postponement of health services is important for the continuity of health services. In this study, it was aimed to determine the health care procrastination behaviors and procrastination tendencies of individuals due to the Covid-19 pandemic and to reveal their relationship with the relevant variables. The population of the research consists of individuals aged 18 and over residing in the city center of Isparta. Within the scope of the research, individuals residing in the city center of Isparta were reached by convenience sampling method. Quantitative research method was used in the research, questionnaire technique was used as a data collection tool and a total of 542 people were reached. Analyzes were made on 320 people who postponed their health services. In the study, a questionnaire created by the researcher as a result of the literature review was used. According to the results of the research, it was determined that the participants postponed their health services mostly due to the fear of catching Covid-19 in the hospital, the overcrowding of the hospitals and the concerns about health during the Covid-19 process. Between fear and anxiety dimensions and variables of age, education level, occupation and chronic disease; between constraints dimension and marital status and occupation variables; Statistically significant differences were found between the dimension of trivializing the disease and the profession variable. In addition, the severity level of the disease, fear and anxiety, restrictions and trivialization of the disease; the dimension of fear and anxiety and restrictions with age; It was concluded that there was a significant relationship between the vaccine dose and the fear and anxiety dimension. Another important result obtained in the study is that the participants postponed the polyclinic, dental care and routine controls the most during the pandemic process.
