İşsizlik, küresel anlamda mücadele edilmesi gereken sosyo-ekonomik sorunların başında gelmektedir. Her kesimi etkileyen bu problem, genç işsizlik oranlarının yüksek olması nedeniyle üniversitede öğrenimlerine devam eden bireyler içinde geleceğe dair ciddi bir endişe duymalarına neden olmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi öğrencilerinin işsizlik kaygı düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma modellerinden olan tekil arama modeli kullanılmıştır. Bu yaklaşımda, ilgilenilen olay, madde, kişi, grup, kurum, konu vb. birim ve duruma ait değişkenler, teker teker açıklamaya çalışılır. Çalışmada ki veriler anket yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Katılımcılara yönlendirilen bu anket iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde "Kişisel Bilgi Formu" alırken ikinci bölümde ise "İşsizlik Kaygı Ölçeği" yer almaktadır. Bu ölçeğin "Ekonomideki İstihdam Zorlukları", "Çevresel ve Sosyal Baskı", "Kişisel Karamsarlık ve Özgüven Eksikliği", "Niteliksel Olarak Bilgi ve Beceri Eksikliği" olmak üzere 4 alt boyutu vardır. Anket sonucunda elde edilen veriler SPSS 22 paket programında analiz edilmiştir Çalışmanın evrenini 188 kadın, 138 erkek öğrenci olmak üzere toplamda 326 Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Yapılan Kolmogorov-Smirnov testi sonucunda verilerin normal dağılmadığı tespit edilmesinden dolayı 2 bağımsız grubun incelenmesinde Mann Whitney U testi ,3 veya daha fazla grubun incelenmesinde ise Kruskall Walis H testi kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizlerde anlamlı bir farklılık saptanmamış ve elde edilen bulgular tek tek incelenmiştir. Genel işsizlik kaygı ölçeğine ve alt boyutlarına verilen cevapların ortalamalarına bakıldığında "Niteliksel Olarak Bilgi ve Beceri Eksikliği" alt boyutu bakımından öğrencilerinin işsizlik kaygı düzeylerinin düşük olduğu, "İşsizlik Kaygı Ölçeği" ve diğer alt boyutları bakımından öğrencilerinin işsizlik kaygı düzeylerinin orta düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Unemployment is one of the leading socio-economic problems that need to be tackled globally. This problem, which affects every segment, causes serious concerns about the future among individuals who continue their education at university due to the high rate of youth unemployment. The aim of this study is to examine the unemployment anxiety levels of Dokuz Eylül University Fine Arts Faculty students. The singular search model, which is one of the quantitative research models, was used in the research. The data in the study were collected by questionnaire method. This questionnaire directed to the participants consists of two parts. The first part includes the "Personal Information Form", while the second part includes the "Unemployment Anxiety Scale". This scale has 4 sub-dimensions: "Economic Employment Difficulties", "Environmental and Social Pressure", "Personal Pessimism and Lack of Self-Confidence", "Qualitative Lack of Knowledge and Skills". The data obtained as a result of the survey were analyzed in the SPSS 22 package program. The population of the study consists of 326 Fine Arts Faculty students, 188 female and 138 male students. As a result of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, it was determined that the data were not normally distributed, so the Mann Whitney U test was used in the examination of 2 independent groups, and the Kruskall Walis H test was used in the examination of 3 or more groups. No significant difference was found in the analyzes and the findings were examined one by one. When the average of the answers given to the general unemployment anxiety scale and its sub-dimensions were examined, it was determined that the unemployment anxiety levels of the students were low in terms of the "Qualitatively Lack of Knowledge and Skills" sub-dimension, and the unemployment anxiety levels of the students were moderate in terms of the "Unemployment Anxiety Scale" and other sub-dimensions.
