Lojistik dört aşamalı bir süreçtir ve talep ile başlar. Bu süreçler tedarik, üretim, dağıtım ve ters (iade) lojistiği olarak adlandırılmaktadır. Günümüzde lojistik tüm işletmeler için stratejik bir konumdadır. Bu sektörde çalışanlarında her geçen gün kariyer, kariyer planlama ve sektörde memnuniyetleri özellikle 1980'den günümüze değişen ve her geçen gün gelişen Dünyada önemli hale gelmektedir. Kariyer kavramı insanlar için oldukça elzem konuların başında gelmektedir. İnsanın bağlı olduğu kimlik ve içinde bulunduğu toplum kariyerinin oluşumunda oldukça etki etmektedir. Ek olarak kariyer insan hayatında hedefe ulaşmak için kendine belirlemiş olduğu amacını da belirlemesinde önemli unsurlardan bir tanesidir. İyi bir kariyer için seçilen meslekler insanların aynı zamanda iş durumundaki sosyalleşmesini de sağlayabilmektedir. İnsan kaynaklarının kariyer planlamadaki temel amaçlarından bir tanesi de bireysel kariyer beklentileri ile söz konusu bireylerin bağlı oldukları örgütlerin ihtiyaç duydukları insan kaynağını bir araya getirebilmektir. Diğer önemli bir nokta da bireyin iş hayatında çalışma nedenidir. Bunlar ihtiyaçları karşılamak ve doyum sağlamaktır. Çalışma hayatının ilk yıllarında temel ve hayati ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak için çalışan birey, zamanla değişen beklenti ve ihtiyaçların tatmini maksadıyla çalışmaktadır (Yüksel, 2005: 305). Beklentilerin ne derecede karşılandığı ile ilgili olduğu için kariyer memnuniyeti de bireyin iş hayatında elde ettiği başarılar sonucu kazandığı kariyer pozisyonlarının beklentilerini ne kadar karşıladığı ile ilgilidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, lojistik sektöründeki perakende alanında çalışan bireylerin "bireysel kariyer planlama" durumu ile "kariyer memnuniyeti" durumu arasındaki ilişki ve etkinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırmanın evrenini, Isparta merkezde bulunan perakende alanında faaliyet gösteren zincir perakende şirket çalışanları oluşturmaktadır. Bu kapsamda yapılan analizler sonucunda kariyer uyumluluğunun kariyer memnuniyetine etkisi olduğu ancak algılanan bilginin kariyer memnuniyetine etkisinin olmadığı ve kariyer iyimserliğinin kariyer memnuniyetine etkisinin olmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Logistics is a four-step process and starts with demand. These processes are called procurement, production, distribution and reverse logistics. Today, logistics is strategically located for all businesses. In this sector, career, career planning and satisfaction in the sector are becoming important especially in the world that has been changing since 1980 and developing day by day. The concept of career is one of the most important issues for people. The identity to which the person is attached and the society in which he is in have a great influence on the formation of his career. In addition, career is one of the important elements in determining the purpose that it has set for itself in order to achieve the goal in human life. Professions chosen for a good career can also enable people to socialize in the job situation. One of the main purposes of human resources in career planning is to bring together the individual career expectations and the human resources needed by the organizations to which these individuals are affiliated. Another important point is the reason for the individual to work in business life. These are to confuse and satisfy needs. In the first years of working life, the individual who works to meet his basic and vital needs works with the aim of satisfying the expectations and needs that change over time (Yüksel, 2005: 305). Since it is related to the extent to which expectations are met, career satisfaction is also related to how much the individual meets the expectations of the career positions gained as a result of the success they have achieved in business life. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship and effect between the "individual career planning" status and the "career satisfaction" status of individuals working in the retail field in the logistics sector. The universe of the research consists of the employees of chain retail companies operating in the retail field located in the center of Isparta. As a result of the analyzes made in this context, it was concluded that career compatibility has an effect on career satisfaction, but perceived information has no effect on career satisfaction and career optimism has no effect on career satisfaction.
