Son yıllarda özellikle iletişim ve haberleşme teknolojisinde hızla artan gelişmelerin sonucu olarak günlük hayatımızın vazgeçilmezleri arasında yer alan telsiz, cep telefonu ve internet ağları gibi ürünler yaşantımıza gerek sosyal gerekse ekonomik açıdan büyük kolaylıklar sağlamaktadır. Teknolojideki bu baş döndürücü gelişmeler, yararlı etkilerinin yanı sıra henüz uzun dönem risklerini ve zararlarını tam olarak bilmediğimiz elektromanyetik kirliliği de yol açabilmektedir ve son yıllardaki çalışmalar büyük oranda bu konu üzerine yoğunlaşmıştır. Bu çalışmada kablosuz internet cihazlarından yayılan 2.45 GHz elektromanyetik alan (EMA) maruziyetinin kutanöz oksidatif stres üzerine muhtemel etkileri ve .-glukanın oluşabilecek olası oksidatif hasara karşı koruyucu etkisini saptamak amacıyla dokuda total antioksidan seviye (TAS) ve total oksidan seviye (TOS) düzeylerine bakıldı. Çalışmada 32 adet Wistar albino türü rat kullanıldı. Ratlar kontrol, kontrol + betaglukan, EMA ve EMA + beta-glukan olmak üzere, her grupta 8 hayvan bulunacak şekilde 4 gruba ayrıldı. EMA ve EMA + beta-glukan grubundaki ratlar 4 hafta boyunca günde 60 dakika 64 mW/kg gücünde 2.45 GHz dalga frekansında EMA.ya maruz bırakıldı. Betaglukan 4 hafta boyunca 50 mg/kg/gün dozunda gavajla tedavi gruplarına verildi. Son EMA uygulanmasından 24 saat sonra ratlar sakrifiye edildi. Deri örneklerinde TAS ve TOS değerleri otoanalizör ile spektrofotometrik olarak ölçüldü. Çalışmamızda elde etiğimiz bulgulara göre; TAS ve TOS değerleri açısından kontrol, EMA ve beta-glukan verilen tedavi grupları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark saptanmadı (sırasıyla; p=0.07, p=0.9). Sonuç olarak çalışmamızda kablosuz internet ağlarından yayılan 2.45 GHz EMA.nın kutanöz oksidatif stresi artırmadığı saptandı. İstatistiksel olarak anlamlı olmasa da beta-glukan verilen gruplarda doku TOS seviyelerinin azaldığı, TAS seviyelerinin arttığı tespit edildi. EMA.nın kutanöz oksidatif hasar üzerine olan etkilerinin gösterilmesinde, daha uzun süreli maruziyetin sağlandığı, fazla sayıda deneği içeren ve histolojik verilerle desteklenen ileri çalışmalara ihtiyaç duyulduğu görüşündeyiz. In recent years, especially in the rapidly growing communication technologies; wireless, networking products are indispensable in our daily life between wireless, mobile phones and internet networking products such as our life, both social and economic aspects provides great convenience. This dizzying advances in technology, as well as beneficial effects yet the long-term risks and hazards that are not known exactly can cause electromagnetic pollution, and in recent years studies focused largely on this issue. In this study, cutaneous oxidative stress, the possible effects, and .-glucan to 2.45 GHz exposure of wireless Internet devices may occur the potential oxidative damage to the protective effect to determine the tissue total antioxidant status (TAS) and total antioxidant status (TOS) levels were examined. In the study, 32 male Wistar albino kind of rats were used. These subjects were divided into the four groups that each group has eight animals as control, control + betaglucan, EMA, and EMA + beta-glucan. EMA and EMA + beta-glucan group rats were exposed to 64 mW/kg of SAR with the frequency of 2.45 GHz for 60 minutes a day for four weeks. During the exposing process of 4 weeks, Beta-glucan were given to the treatment group with the dose of 50 mg / kg / day by using gavage. All rats were sacrificed after 24 hours from the last EMA application. TAS and TOS levels in their skin samples were measured spectrophotometrically by autoanalyzer. According to the results, in terms of the value of TAS and TOS, there was no significant difference between EMA and beta-glucan (respectively p=0.07, p=0.9). As a result, emission of 2.45 GHz EMA of wireless internet devices were found not to increase cutaneous oxidative stress. Although not statistically significant, it is determined that reduced tissue levels of TOS and TAS levels were increased in groups that were given beta-glucan. We sure that further studies which supported by histological data including high number of subjects with longer-term exposure are needed to demonstrate of cutaneous oxidative stress and effect of EMA.
