Çalışmamızın amacı hastanemiz acil servisine başvuran düşme öyküsü olan travma hastalarının demografik özelliklerini tespit ederek alınabilecek önlemleri belirlemek. Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi'ne Ocak 2016-Mayıs 2017 tarihleri arasında başvuran 1433 düşme vakası retrospektif olarak değerlendirilerek olguların demografik özellikleri ortaya konuldu. Her olgu için cinsiyet, yaş, düşme sebebi, düşme yeri, etkilenen vücut bölgesi, düşülen ay, taburculuk -yatış durumu parametrelerine bakıldı. Bu vakaların 836 (%58,3)'sı erkek, 597 (%41,7)'si bayan olarak tespit edildi. Olgular 1-100 yaş aralığında olup yaş ortalaması 30,7(25.4) yıl olarak hesaplandı. Yaş gruplarına dağılım incelendiğinde en fazla başvuru 559 (%39) ile 0-18 yaş grubunda olduğu görüldü. 1433 hastanın 1126 (%78,6)'sı acil servisten taburcu edilirken, 307 (%21,4)'sinin kliniğe yatırıldığı saptandı ve yatırılan hastaların yaş ortalaması 43,57(29,4) yıl ile daha yüksek bulundu. Yaş grupları arasında en fazla yatış oranının 115(%45,3) hasta ile 60 yaş üzerinde olduğu görüldü. Çalışma hastalarının düşme sebeplerine bakıldığında 1389 (%96,9) kişinin dikkatsizlik, tedbirsizlik sebebiyle normal düşme ile, 44 (%3,1) kişinin iş kazası sebebiyle başvurduğu görülmüştür. Yatış oranları karşılaştırıldığında ise 19(%43,2) kişi ile iş kazalarının daha yüksek oranda yatırıldığı görülmüştür. Olguların düşme yerleri incelendiğinde 834 (%58,2) kişi ile aynı seviyeden düşmeler en fazla hasta sayısına sahip grubu oluştururken düşme yerlerine göre yatış oranı en yüksek olan %55,6 oran ile 1 metre üzerinden düşen grup oldu. Vakaların aylara göre dağılımı incelendiğinde en fazla hasta sayısı temmuz-ekim aylarında görüldü. Düşme sonucu etkilenen vücut bölümlerine bakıldığında 599 (%41,8)'kişi ile en fazla yaralanma extremite yaralanması iken 433 (%30,2)'kişi ile kafa travmaları 2.sırada yer aldı. Yatış oranlarına baktığımızda %52,6 yatış oranıyla multitravma hastalarının yatış oranı en yüksek olarak hesaplandı. Sonuç olarak, travmalar içerisinde önemli bir yere sahip olan düşme vakalarının azaltılmasında toplumun bu konuda bilinçlendirilmesi ve gerekli eğitimin verilmesinin önemi vurgulandı. Analysis Of Data Which İs Belong To Patients Who Came To Süleyman Demirel University Medical Faculty Hospital Emergency Department Because Of Fall The purpose of this study to determine the precautions that can be taken by determining the demographic characteristics of the trauma patients who fall story into the emergency department. We resourched retrospectively the demographic properties of 1433 patients who came Süleyman Demirel University Medical Faculty between january 2016 and may 2017 and determined demographic characteristics. For each case, gender, age, cause of fall, place of fall, affected body region, fallen months, discharge, admission parameters were examined. Of these cases, 836 (58.3%) were male and 597 (41.7%) were female. The cases are in the 1-100 age range and the average age is calculated as 30.7 (25.4) years. When the distribution of age groups was examined, it was seen that the highest number of applicants was 0-18 age group with 559 (39%) patient. Of the 1433 patients, 1126 (78.6%) were discharged from the emergency department and 307 (21.4%) were admitted to the clinic, and the mean age of the patients admitted to clinic was 43.57 (29.4) years. The average age of the patients admitted to the clinic was higher. The highest rate of admission among the age groups was found to be over 60 years with 115 (45.3%) patients. 96.9% (n:1389) of ceses were unexpected accidental falls, 3.1% (n:44) were workplace accidents. When the rates of hospitalization were compared, it was seen that 19 (43.2%) persons were higher rate hospitalization because of workplace fall. When the falling places of the cases were examined, it was found that 834 (58.2%) persons had the highest number of falls from the same level. The highest rate of hospitalization was the group fell over 1 meter with 55.6%. When the distribution of the cases according to the month was examined, the maximum number of patients was seen in July-October. When the affected parts of the body were examined, 599 (41.8%) were the most injured extremities and 433 (30.2%) were the head traumas. When we looked at the rates of hospitalization, the rate of hospitalization for multitrauma patients was calculated to be the highest with a 52.6% admission rate. In conclusion, the emphasis was placed on raising awareness and training of the community in reducing the number of falls that have a significant impact on trauma.
