Meme kanserleri klinik, morfoloji ve tedaviye yanıt açısından oldukça farklı tiplere sahip tümörlerdir. Saptanan tümörün bazı histopatolojik özellikleri tedavi yönteminin belirlenmesinde önem taşımaktadır. Biz de çalışmamızda hasta yaşı, BI-RADS (Breast Imaging Reporting and Data Systems) tanımlayıcılarına göre meme parankim paterni ve mamografik özelliklerine bakarak patolojik prognostik faktörlerin öngörülebilirliği, dolayısı ile hastanın prognozu hakkında radyolojik olarak yorum yapılabilirliğinin değerlendirilmesini amaçladık. Ocak 2018-Şubat 2023 tarihleri arasında 'Meme Kanseri' tanısı alan ve kanser tanısı konan tarafdaki memeye ait preoperatif mamografi (MG) görüntüsü olan 91 kadın hasta çalışmaya dahil edildi. Retrospektif olarak; tümörün patolojik özelliklerinden; histolojik tip, grade, östrojen (ER) ve progesteron (PR) reseptör durumu, C-Erb-B2 (Her-2/Neu) durumu, Ki-67 indeksi, moleküler subtip, lenfovasküler invazyon durumu, lenf nodu (LN) tutulumu, komedo nekroz ve boyut verileri kaydedildi. MG değerlendirmesinde, meme parankim tipi, meme kanserinin MG özellikleri ve boyut verileri kaydedildi. Hasta yaşı, meme dansitesi ve MG bulguları ile patolojik veriler karşılaştırıldı. Hasta yaş gruplarının kitle alt tipleri, histolojik grade, meme dansitesi grupları ile istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği saptandı. Meme dansitesinin kitle alt tipleri, histolojik grade, mikrokalsifikasyon (MK) alt tipleri ile istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği saptandı. Tümörün MG boyutları ile histolojik grade, nodal durum, ER durumu arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki saptandı. MK alt tipleri ve kitle+MK varlığı ile Her-2/Neu durumu, kitle alt tipleri ile ER ve PR durumu arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık saptandı. MG lezyon boyutları ile patolojik tümör boyutları arasında, 50 yaş ve üstü hasta grubu ile hem yüksek hem düşük meme dansitesi olan hasta gruplarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki saptandı. Bu çalışmayla elde edilen sonuçlar meme kanserinin MG bulguları ile tümörün doğası hakkında yorum yapılabileceğini düşündürmektedir. Breast cancers are tumors that have quite different types in terms of clinical, morphology and response to treatment. Some histopathological features of the detected tumor are important in determining the treatment method. In our study, we aimed to evaluate the predictability of pathological prognostic factors and therefore the radiological interpretation of the patient's prognosis by looking at the patient's age, breast parenchyma pattern and mammographic features according to BI-RADS (Breast Imaging Reporting and Data Systems) descriptors. Between January 2018 and February 2023, 91 female patients who were diagnosed with 'Breast Cancer' and had a preoperative mammography (MG) image of the breast on the side of the cancer diagnosis were included in the study. Retrospectively; from the pathological features of the tumor; histological type, grade, estrogen (ER) and progesterone (PR) receptor status, C-Erb-B2 (Her-2/Neu) status, Ki-67 index, molecular subtype, lymphovascular invasion status, lymph node (LN) involvement, comedo necrosis and size data were recorded. In MG evaluation, breast parenchyma type, MG characteristics of breast cancer and size data were recorded. Patient age, breast density and MG findings were compared with pathological data. It was determined that patient age groups showed statistically significant differences with mass subtypes, histological grade, and breast density groups. It was determined that breast density showed statistically significant differences with mass subtypes, histological grade, and microcalcification (MC) subtypes. A statistically significant correlation was found between the MG dimensions of the tumor and histological grade, nodal status, and ER status. Statistically significant difference was found between MC subtypes and presence of mass+MC and Her-2/Neu status, and between mass subtypes and ER and PR status. A statistically significant relationship was found between MG lesion sizes and pathological tumor sizes, in the patient group aged 50 and over and in the patient groups with both high and low breast density. The results obtained in this study suggest that MG findings of breast cancer and the nature of the tumor can be interpreted.
