Farklı Yüz Tiplerinde Temporomandibuler Eklem Morfolojisinin Konik Işınlı Bilgisayarlı Tomografi İle Değerlendirilmesi KIBT görüntülerinde, farklı yüz tipinde erişkin ve klinik olarak TME bozukluğu bulgusu olmayan bireylerde kondil ve TME morfolojisini değerlendiren çalışma bulunmamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı bir Türk alt popülasyonunda, KIBT görüntülerinde, TME morfolojisini incelemek, farklı yüz tiplerinde kondilin ve çevre anatomik yapının değişiklik gösterip göstermediğini araştırmaktır. Başlangıç hipotezimiz "Farklı yüz tipindeki bireylerde, TME morfolojisi ve patolojileri anlamlı bir fark göstermez" şeklindedir. Bu çalışmaya çeşitli nedenlerle KIBT çektirmek için başvurmuş, 18 yaş üstü, TME bozukluğu belirlenmeyen 60 birey dahil oldu. KIBT çekimi (90 kV, 10 mA, voksel: 0,4 mm³; FOV: 200 x 170 mm) tamamlanmış bireylerden, klinik muayeneleri yapılan ve TME bozukluk bulgusu olmayanlar çalışmaya dahil edildi. KIBT görüntülerinden, sefalometrik radyograf oluşturuldu ve Jarabak (Se-Go/N-Me) oranına göre hastalar hipodiverjen, normodiverjen, hiperdiverjen olarak üç gruba ayrıldı. 120 TME'de KIBT sagital kesitte eklem kondil-fossa arası mesafeler ve kondilin anterio-posterior yönde en geniş çap ölçümleri ve kondil patalojileri belirlendi. Koronal kesitte ise kondil fossa arası mesafe ve kondilin medio-lateral en geniş çap ölçümleri yapıldı ve kondil tipleri belirlendi. Kondil tipinin cinsiyet (p=0,409) ve yaşa (p=0,458) bağlı olarak fark göstermediği anlaşıldı. Farklı yüz tiplerinde sağ (p=0,741) ve sol (p=0,472) kondil tipi arasında fark bulunmadı. Yüz tipi ile TME'de patoloji bulunması arasında sağ (p=0,333) ve sol (p=0,250) eklem için anlamlı bir fark belirlenmedi. Sağ eklem kondil-fossa sagital anterior (2,868±0,109 mm), kondil-fossa sagital posterior (2,984±0,207 mm) ölçümlerinde açılı eklemde anlamlı artış olduğu, kondil anterior-posterior(7,486±0,294 mm) ölçümlerinin açılı eklem tipinde anlamlı (p˂0.05) azaldığı belirlendi. Kondil fossa sagital anterior ölçümü açılı kondil tipinde, konveks ve düzleşmişe göre artmıştır (p=0,008). Kondil fossa sagital posterior ölçümü açılı kondilde, oval ve düzleşmiş kondile göre artmıştır (p=0,010). Kondil anterior posterior ölçümü, konveks kondilde, oval eklem tipine göre artmıştır (p=0,013). Kondil fossa sagittal posterior ölçümünde, hem sağ (p=0.02) hem de sol kondil (p=0.06) için eklem patolojisi görülme durumu arasında anlamlı ilişki belirlendi. Bu tez çalışmasının sonucunda, yüz tipine göre kondil tipinin değişmediği anlaşıldı. In CBCT images of 120 TMJ, the distance between the joint condyle-fossa and the largest diameter measurements of the condyle in the anterior-posterior direction and condyle pathologies were determined in the sagittal section. On the coronal section, the distance between the condyle and the fossa and the medio-lateral diameter of the condyle were measured and condyle types were determined. Condyle type was not differ according to gender (p = 0,409) and age (p=0,458). There was no difference between right (p = 0.741) and left (p = 0.472) condyle types in different facial types. No significant difference was found between the facial type and the presence of pathology on TMJ for the right (p = 0.333) and left (p = 0.250). There was significant increase in the right condyle-fossa sagittal anterior (2,868 ± 0,109 mm) and condyle-fossa sagittal posterior (2,984 ± 0,207 mm) measurements, significant decrease in anterior-posterior (7,486 ± 0,294 mm ) condyle measurement for angular joint. The condyle fossa sagittal anterior measurement was increased in the angular condyle type when compared with convex and flattened (p = 0.008) condyle types. The sagittal posterior measurement of the condyle fossa increased in the angular condyle compared to the oval and flattened condyle (p = 0.010). Condyle anterior posterior measurement increased in convex condyle compared to oval joint type (p = 0.013). In the condyle fossa sagittal posterior measurement, a significant relationship was determined between the condition of joint pathology for both right (p = 0.02) and left condyle (p = 0.06). As a result of this thesis, it was understood that condyle type did not change according to facial type.
