Normallik ve sabit varyans varsayımlarının karşılanmadığı durumlarda veri dönüşümüne ve genel doğrusal modellere alternatif bir yaklaşım olarak genelleştirilmiş doğrusal modeller oluşturulmuştur. Bağımlı değişkenin kesikli sayısal değerler alması ve sayma verisi olması durumunda Poisson Regresyon modeli kurulur. Poisson dağılımına uyan bağımlı değişkenin tahmin edilmesi için farklı Poisson Regresyon modelleri geliştirilmiştir. Bağımlı değişkenin çok sayıda sıfır içermesi durumu olduğu gibi hiç sıfır içermeyen veri kümeleri de bulunmaktadır. Bu durumda, Sıfır Ağırlıksız Poisson Regresyonu uygulanır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, sıfır ağırlıksız regresyon modelini inceleyip, dismenore hastalarında hijyenik ped kullanım sayısını modelleyerek uygulama yapmaktır. Uygulama verisi, bir Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi Kadın Hastalıkları ve Doğum bölümüne dismenore şikayeti ile başvuran hastalardan alınan bilgiler ile oluşturulmuştur. Çalışmaya, altı aylık süre içerisinde ve güç analizi sonucu belirlenen hasta sayısını kapsamak üzere gönüllülük esasına göre, 16 ile 49 yaşları arasında olan toplam 190 kadın hasta dahil edilmiştir. Kendilerine yöneltilen soru formundan elde edilen bilgiler ile veri kümesi SPSS 20.0 ve STATA 16.0 programları kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Sıfır Ağırlıksız Poisson Regresyon modeli anlamlı ve uyum düzeyi yüksek bulunmuş olup (-2Log Likelihood=1184,3, Likelihood X2=86,31 (p<0,001) ve Yapay R2=0,067), hastanın yaşı, eğitim düzeyi, adet süresi ve dismenore tipi hijyenik ped kullanım miktarı üzerinde anlamlı etkiye sahip bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Bağımlı değişkenin kesikli sayısal değerler alması durumunda klasik doğrusal regresyon modeli yerine verinin yapısına uygun olarak Poisson regresyon modellerinden uygun olanının tercih edilmesi daha güvenilir sonuçlar ve katsayıların elde edilmesi açısından önerilmektedir. In cases where the assumptions of normality and homoscedasticity are not met, generalized linear models were created as an alternative approach to data transformation and general linear models. If the dependent variable has discrete numerical values and is count data, the Poisson Regression model is established. The different Poisson Regression models have been developed to estimate the dependent variable that fits the Poisson distribution. There are datasets that contain no zeros, as well as the situation where the dependent variable contains many zeros. In this case, the Zero Inflated Poisson Regression is applied. The aim of this study is to examine the zero-truncated regression model and its characteristics to model the number of sanitary pads used in dysmenorrhea patients. The dataset was created with the information obtained from the patients who applied to the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department of a Medical Faculty Research Hospital with dysmenorrhea. A total of 190 female patients between the ages of 16 and 49 were included in the study on a voluntary basis to include the number of patients determined as a result of the power analysis within a six-month period. The information obtained from the questionnaire directed to them and the dataset were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 and STATA 16.0 softwares. The Zero-Truncated Poisson Regression model was significant and the level of goodness-of-fit was high (-2Log Likelihood=1184.3, Likelihood X2=86.31 (p<0.001) and Pseudo R2=0.067). The age of the patients, education level, menstrual period and dysmenorrhea type were found to be significant on the amount of used sanitary pads (p<0.05). It can be concluded that if the dependent variable consists of discrete type of numerical values, it is recommended to choose the appropriate Poisson regression model in accordance with the structure of the data instead of the classical linear regression model in order to obtain more reliable results and coefficients.
