Bu durum da sentetik pırlanta imalatında faydalanılan bütçenin yükselmesine, haliyle ihtiyaç duyulan teknolojilerin ilerleme göstermesine neden olmaktadır. Sentetik elmas imalatında HPHT ve CVD metotlarından faydalanılmaktadır. Zamanla sözü edilen metotlar ilerleme kaydetmekte ve daha düşük maliyetli 0,30 ile 0,70 karat ağırlıkları arasında bulunan renksiz pırlanta imalatı sağlanmaktadır. Doğada bulunan elmasların çoğunun mücevher kalitesine sahip olmadığı, başka bir deyişle çoğunlukla opak oldukları, dolgunluklarından dolayı parlayamadıkları veya renk bakımından daha az çekici oldukları bilinmektedir. Evet, nitelikleri beklendiği gibi olmayabilir, ancak fiziksel nitelikleri ile sektörde önemli bir kullanım alanına sahiptir. Elmaslar ender bulunduğundan ve çıkarılmasının meşakkatinden ötürü de kıymetlidir. Endüstride elmasın yerine kullanılabilecek başka bir madenle alakalı araştırma yapılırken öte taraftan da elmasın sentetiğiyle alakalı faaliyetlere başlanmıştır. Uzun çabalar neticesinde laboratuvarda elmas imal edilebilmiştir. Sözü edilen zaman diliminde teknoloji bakımından da sentetiği doğal olanından pahalıya mal olduğundan bilimsel çalışma şeklinde sürdürülmüş ve piyasaya satışı olmamıştır. Gelişen teknoloji ile daha uygun fiyata mal edilip önce sanayiide faydalanılacak elmaslar imal edilmiştir. Kristal yapısındaki yanlışlarla alakalı da metotlar ortaya konulunca mücevher değerinde elmaslar imal edilmeye başlanmıştır. Sentetik elmas, elmasın doğal oluşum şartlarını laboratuvar alanında mümkün kılarak ulaşılan elmaslardır. Fiziksel ve kimyasal tüm nitelikleri özdeş olduğundan doğal elmasla sentetik elmasın ayrımının yapılması ileri laboratuvarlarda gemolojik cihazlar sayesinde gerçekleştirilebilmektedir. Yürüttüğümüz bu çalışma kapsamında literatür tarama metoduyla makale, dergi yayınlanmış olan yüksek lisans tezlerinden yararlanarak, doğal ve sentetik elmasların laboratuar şartlarında tespit edilmesiyle alakalı şekilde verilere ulaşılmaya gayret edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucuna göre doğal ve sentetik elmasların, laboratuvarda inceleme yapılmadan basit usülde birbirlerinden ayırt edilmesi mümkün değildir. Tüm özellikleri aynı olan doğal ve sentetik elmaslar arasındaki fark, uygun teknik ve metotlar uygulanarak ileri spektroskobik cihazlar kullanılarak belirlenmelidir. Nowadays, diamonds are the most preferred jewelry stones by people. The diamond trade has become quite widespread in the last 10 years. This situation causes the budget used in the production of synthetic diamonds to increase, and the technologies needed to progress. HPHT and CVD methods are used in the manufacture of synthetic diamonds. In time, the mentioned methods are making progress and production of colorless diamonds with a lower cost between 0.30 and 0.70 carat weights is provided. It is known that most of the diamonds found in nature do not have the quality of jewellery, in other words, they are mostly opaque, unable to shine due to their fullness, or are less attractive in terms of color. Yes, its qualities may not be as expected, however, it has an important field of use in the industry with its physical qualities. Diamonds are also valuable because they are rare and difficult to mine. While research is being conducted on another metal that can be used instead of diamond in the industry, on the other hand, activities related to the synthetic of the diamond have been started. As a result of long efforts, diamonds could be produced in the laboratory. In the aforementioned time period, it was continued in the form of scientific study, since its synthetics cost more than natural ones in terms of technology, and it was not sold to the market. With the developing technology, diamonds were produced at a more affordable price and used primarily in the industry. When the methods related to the mistakes in the crystal structure were introduced, diamonds worth jewelry began to be produced. Synthetic diamonds are diamonds that are achieved by making the natural formation conditions of the diamond possible in the laboratory. Since all their physical and chemical properties are identical, the distinction between natural and synthetic diamonds can be made in advanced laboratories by means of gemological devices. Within the scope of this study, we have tried to reach the data related to the detection of natural and synthetic diamonds under laboratory conditions by using the literature review method, making use of the master's theses published in the article and journal. According to the results of the study, it is not possible to distinguish between natural and synthetic diamonds in a simple way without laboratory examination. The difference between natural and synthetic diamonds with all the same properties should be determined using advanced spectroscopic devices by applying appropriate techniques and methods.
