Günümüzde insanoğlunun suya olan talebi hızlı bir artış göstermektedir. Bu da baraj, bağlama, sulama göleti gibi su kaynaklarının planlanması, inşa edilmesi ve işletilmesi gibi hususların öneminin gün geçtikçe artmasına sebep olmaktadır. Bu gibi durumlarda en önemli husus var olan veya gelecekte meydana gelebilecek su potansiyelinin tespit edilmesidir. Su kaynaklarındaki su potansiyelinin tespit edilmesinde yağışın olmadığı kurak dönemlerde akarsu akımının önemli bir kısmını meydana getiren taban akışının tespit edilmesi çok önemli bir konu haline gelmektedir. Hidrografın büyük bir bölümünü oluşturan taban akışının tespiti oldukça karmaşık bir konudur. Taban akışının tespitinde kullanılan yöntemler ve bu yöntemlere ait katsayılar havzadan havzaya, akarsudan akarsuya hatta yıldan yıla değişmektedir. Bu çalışmada taban akışının otomatik olarak tespit edilebilmesi için özellikle meta-sezgisel optimizasyon algoritmalarının kullanılabileceği düşünülmüş ve meta-sezgisel optimizasyon yöntemlerinden olan Parçacık Sürü Optimizasyonu Algoritması (PSO), Simbiyotik Organizmalar Arama Algoritması (SOA), Genetik Algoritma (GA), Gri Kurt Optimizasyonu Algoritması (GKO) ve Diferansiyel Evrim Algoritması (DE) seçilmiştir. Seçilen bu algoritmalar ile literatürde mevcut Lyne ve Hollick, Chapman, Chapman-Maxwell, Boughton-Maxwell yöntemleri ve önermiş olduğumuz yöntem birlikte kullanılmış ve kısıt-maliyet fonksiyonlarının tanımlandığı bir bilgisayar yazılımı oluşturulmuştur. Oluşturulan bu yazılım, Fırat Havzası'nda Ayvalı Tohma Suyu, Göynük Çayı Çayağzı, Munzur Suyu Melekbahçe istasyonları ve Yeşilırmak Havzası'nda bulunan Kale istasyonuna ait veriler kullanılarak taban akışı tespiti üzerine uygulanmıştır. Çalışmanın asıl amacı bu algoritmaların taban akışı belirlemedeki önemini göstermektir. Bunun için Fırat Havzası istasyonları için Tohma suyu 1979-2006, Göynük Çayı 1970-2014 ve Melekbahçe 1969-2009 yılları arası, Yeşilırmak Havzası Kale istasyonu için 1951-2015 yılları arasındaki yıllar için taban akışı katsayısı belirlenmiştir. Çizilen hidrograflara ve taban akışı ayrım çizgisine bakıldığında elde edilen katsayıların kıstas fonksiyonlarını optimum şekilde karşıladığı görülmüştür. Bu nedenle taban akışı ayırma çalışmalarında özellikle katsayı kalibresinde meta-sezgisel yöntemlerin kullanılmasının hız ve doğruluk açısından oldukça önemli olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Çalışmada, taban akışı ayrımına ek olarak bu istasyonların hidrografı, taban akışı ve taban akışının akıma oranı (yüzdesi) Mann-Kendall ve Innovative trend testi (ITA) ile test edilerek trendleri belirlenmiştir. Her iki yöntem için Tohma Suyu istasyonunda tüm analizlerde akım verileri için azalan bir trend olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Diğer istasyonlar için verilerin çoğunluklu olduğu duruma göre tüm analizlerde akım verileri için herhangi bir trend olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Her iki yöntem için Tohma Suyu istasyonunda tüm analizlerde taban akışı verileri için azalan bir trend olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Diğer istasyonlar için verilerin çoğunluklu olduğu duruma göre tüm analizlerde akım verileri için herhangi bir trend olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca taban akışının akım değerlerine paralel olarak azaldığı tespit edilmiştir. Hidrografın pik değerlerinin yüksek olduğu yıllarda da taban akışı oranlarının düşük olduğu ayrı bir tespittir. In such cases, it is most important to determine the existing or future water potential. In determining the water potential of water resources, it is very important to determine the base flow, which is a significant part of the water flow during periods of low precipitation. Determining base flow, which is a large part of the hydrograph, is a very complex matter. The methods used to determine baseflow and the coefficients of those methods change from basin to basin, from stream to stream, and even from year to year. In this study, it was assumed that meta-heuristic optimization algorithms could be used to determine the base flow automatically, and the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm, Symbiotic Organism Search (SOA) algorithm, Genetic Algorithm (GA), Gray Wolf Optimization algorithm, which are meta-heuristic optimization methods. (GWO) and Differential Evolution Algorithm (DE) were chosen. with these selected algorithms, the methods available in the literature by Lyne and Hollick, Chapman, Chapman-Maxwell, Boughton-Maxwell and our proposed method were used together and a computer software was created in which the constraint cost functions were defined. This software was created based on the data from the Ayvalı Tohma Suyu, Göynük Stream Çayağzı, Munzur Suyu Melekbahçe stations in the Euphrates Basin and Kale station in the Yeşilırmak Basin. The main objective of the study is to show the importance of these algorithms in determining the base flow. For this purpose, the base flow coefficient was determined for the years between Tohma Water 1979-2006, Göynük Stream 1970-2014 and Melekbahçe 1969-2009 for the stations in the Euphrates basin and 1951-2015 for the Kale station in the Yeşilırmak basin. Examination of the plotted hydrographs and the baseflow separation curve shows that the determined coefficients satisfy the criterion functions optimally. For this reason, it is considered that the use of metaheuristic methods, especially in the coefficient calculation, is very important in terms of speed and accuracy in base flow separation studies. In this study, in addition to the baseflow separation, the hydrographs of these stations, the baseflow, and the ratio (percentage) of baseflow to flow were tested using the Mann-Kendall and innovative trend tests (ITA) and their trends were determined. It was found that there was a decreasing trend in flow data for all analyzes at the Tohma Suyu station for both methods. It was found that there is no trend for the flow data in all analyzes, corresponding to the case where the data for other stations are the majority. It was found that there is a decreasing trend for the lower flow data for Tohma Suyu station for both methods in all analyzes. It was found that there is no trend for the flow data in all analyzes, corresponding to the case where the data for other stations are the majority. In addition, the base flow was found to be decreasing in parallel with the current values. Separately, it was found that base flows are low in years when peak hydrograph values are high.
