Ahşap malzeme, özellikle konut üretiminde yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Ancak yeni üretim teknolojileri ile birlikte ahşap malzemenin çok katlı yapıların inşasında kullanımı da artmaktadır. Ülkemizdeki yapıların çoğunluğu deprem bölgesinde bulunmaktadır ve bu yapıların yapısal yetersizlikleri nedeniyle, büyük bir bölümü olası bir depremde hasar görme veya çökme riski altındadır. Deprem etkileri göz önüne alındığında, birleşim noktaları yapılarda en çok etkilenen bölgelerdendir. Ahşap yapıların dayanıklılığını sağlamak için hem tarihi yapıların korunması hem de yeni ahşap yapıların inşası sırasında güçlendirme gereklidir. Bu güçlendirme işlemi, ahşabın zayıf olan birleşim bölgelerini güçlendirmeyi içermektedir. Bu amaçla yapılan bu çalışmada kertme, köşebent ve alumidi olmak üzere faklı bağlantı elemanları ile birleştirilen kolon-kiriş birleşimlerinin eğilme özellikleri incelenmiş ve FRP (Fiber Takviyeli Polimer) ile güçlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Üretilen kolon-kiriş elemanların yük-yer değiştirme deneyleri yapılmış ve sonuç olarak maksimum yük taşıma kapasiteleri, maksimum rijitlik, toplam tüketilen enerjii miktarı değerleri incelenmiştir. Ayrıca, deneysel çalışmalar sonucunda elde edilen veriler kullanılarak kolon-kiriş bağlantılarının sonlu elemanlar analiz programında modellemesi yapılmış ve analizler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler yapay sinir ağlarında modellenmiş ve yük-yer değiştirme deneyleri sonucunda elde edilen veriler tahmin edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda, toplam tüketilen enerji miktarı, maksimum rijitlik değeri ve maksimum yük taşıma kapasitesi değerlerinin kolon ve kiriş kesitlerinin artması ile birlikte arttığı belirlenmiştir. Bağlantı elemanları incelendiğinde bütün kesitlerde köşebent bağlantı elemanının en iyi sonuçları verdiği belirlenmiştir. En düşük toplam tüketilen enerji miktarı, maksimum rijitlik değeri ve maksimum yük taşıma kapasitesi değerlerinin kertme birleştirme yapılan kolon-kiriş bağlantılarına ait olduğu belirlenmiştir. FRP ile sargılanmış kolon-kiriş bağlantılarının yük taşıma kapasitelerinin yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Toplam tüketilen enerji miktarı ve rijitlik değerlerinin de sargılanmış bağlantılarda önemli oranda daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonlu elemanlar ile yapılan modelleme sonucunda kolon-kiriş bağlantısı yapılan numunelerin toplam tüketilen enerji miktarı ve maksimum rijitlik değerlerinin belirlenebileceği görülmektedir. Yapay sinir ağları modeli ile istenilen özellikte kolon-kiriş bağlantısının maksimum yük taşıma kapasitesi, toplam tüketilen enerji miktarı ve maksimum rijitlik değerleri tahmin edilebilmektedir. Wood material, which has been widely used in housing production in the past, is becoming widespread in the production of multi-storey buildings with new production technologies. Considering the fact that most of the buildings in our country are in the earthquake zone and the structural deficiencies in these structures are taken into account, it is known that there is a risk of damage or collapse in a possible earthquake for a large part of the existing structures. Considering the effects of earthquakes, one of the areas that will be most affected in buildings is the joints point. It may be necessary to strengthen the weak joint areas of the wood in order to preserve the existing historical texture and to ensure the durability of the new wooden structures to be built. For this purpose, in this study, the bending properties of column-beam joints, which are combined with different fasteners such as notching, angle iron and aluminide, were examined and strengthened with FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer). Load-displacement tests of the produced column-beam elements were carried out and as a result, maximum load carrying capacities, maximum stiffness, total consumed energy values were examined. In addition, using the data obtained as a result of the experimental studies, the column-beam connections were modeled in the finite element analysis program and the analyzes were carried out. The obtained data were modeled in artificial neural networks and the data obtained as a result of load-displacement experiments were estimated. As a result of the study, it was determined that the total amount of energy consumed, the maximum stiffness value and the maximum load carrying capacity values increased with the increase in column and beam sections. When the fasteners were examined, it was determined that the angle connection element gave the best results in all sections. It was determined that the lowest total amount of energy consumed, maximum stiffness value and maximum load carrying capacity values belong to the column-beam connections with notched joints. It has been determined that the load bearing capacities of column-beam connections wrapped with FRP are high. It has been determined that the total amount of energy consumed and the stiffness values are significantly higher in the coiled connections. As a result of the modeling made with finite elements, it is seen that the total amount of energy consumed and the maximum stiffness values of the samples with column-beam connection can be determined. With the artificial neural network model, the maximum load carrying capacity, the total amount of energy consumed and the maximum stiffness values of the column-beam connection with the desired properties can be estimated.
