Bu çalışmanın amacı, başarı, bağlanma, güç ve düşünme ihtiyacı alt boyutlarından oluşan temel motivasyon kaynaklarının öznel iyi oluş üzerindeki etkisi, işe tutkunluk ve öz yeterliğin bu ilişkideki aracılık rolünün bankacılık sektörü bağlamında incelenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, ilk olarak başarı, bağlanma, güç ve düşünme ihtiyaçlarının öznel iyi oluş üzerindeki etkisi araştırılmış, daha sonra bu etkiler üzerinde işe tutkunluk ve öz yeterliğin aracılık rolü incelenmiştir. Araştırma, bir bankanın Türkiye'de faaliyet gösteren tüm şube çalışanlarını kapsamaktadır. 15.04.2021-19 tarih ve sayılı Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi etik kurul kararına göre veriler toplanmıştır. Katılımcılara kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile elektronik posta üzerinden anket uygulanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında 1100 banka çalışanına ulaşılmış, 383 kişi ankete katılım sağlamıştır. Toplanan verilerin analizinde SPSS ve AMOS programlarından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre, başarı, bağlanma, güç ve düşünme ihtiyacının öznel iyi oluş üzerinde pozitif ve anlamlı bir etkisi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca katılım bankası çalışanlarının öznel iyi oluş düzeylerinde güç ve düşünme ihtiyacının diğerlerinden daha yüksek etkiye sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Araştırma kapsamında yapılan aracılık testlerine ait sonuçlara göre, işe tutkunluk ve öz yeterliğin, temel motivasyon kaynakları ile öznel iyi oluş ilişkisinde aracılık rolü bulunmaktadır. Araştırmanın bulguları literatürde yer alan ilgili çalışmalar kapsamında tartışılmış, sonuç bölümünde gelecek çalışmalar için önerilerde bulunulmuştur. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of the main motivation sources, consisting of the sub-dimensions of success, attachment, power and need for thinking, on subjective well-being, and the mediating role of work engagement and self-efficacy in this relationship in the context of the banking sector. For this purpose, firstly, the effects of achievement, attachment, power and thinking needs on subjective well-being were investigated, and then the mediating role of work engagement and self-efficacy on these effects was examined. The research covers all branch employees of a bank operating in Turkey. Data were collected according to the ethics committee decision of Süleyman Demirel University, dated 15.04.2021-19 and numbered. A questionnaire was applied to the participants via e-mail with the convenience sampling method. Within the scope of the research, 1100 bank employees were reached and 383 people participated in the survey. SPSS and AMOS programs were used in the analysis of the collected data. According to the findings of the study, it was concluded that the need for achievement, attachment, power and thinking has a positive and significant effect on subjective well-being. In addition, it has been observed that the need for power and thinking has a higher effect than the others on the subjective well-being levels of participation bank employees. According to the results of the mediation tests conducted within the scope of the research, work engagement and self-efficacy have a mediating role in the relationship between the main motivation sources and subjective well-being. The findings of the research were discussed within the scope of related studies in the literature, and suggestions were made for future studies in the conclusion section.
