Küreselleşme ve teknolojinin gelişmesiyle beraber dijital gelişmeler yaşanmıştır. Dijital gelişmeler, her alanda olduğu gibi muhasebe mesleğini de etkilemiş ve yeni teknolojileri beraberinde getirmiştir. Yaşanan gelişmeler neticesinde E-uygulamalar, Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı, Defter Beyan Sistemi gibi uygulamalar kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Muhasebede yaşanan dijital dönüşüm muhasebe mesleğinde ve iş süreçlerinde değişime neden olmuştur. Bu çalışmada muhasebenin dijitalleşmesinde muhasebe meslek mensuplarının rolü ortaya konmaktadır. Bu amaçla Antalya ili ve ilçelerinde faaliyet gösteren 371 (28 Serbest Muhasebeci, 334 Serbest Muhasebeci ve Mali Müşavir ve 9 Yeminli Mali Müşavir) muhasebe meslek mensubuna anket çalışması uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Coman, Ionescu, Duică, Coman, Uzlau, Stanescu ve State (2022) tarafından geliştirilen anket formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler IBM SPSS 20 programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın tanımlayıcı değişkenlerine ilişkin frekans analizi, verilerin normalliğine ilişkin çarpıklık ve basıklık testi, kullanılan anket ölçeğine ilişkin Cronbach Alpha katsayısı hesaplanmıştır. Muhasebenin dijitalleşmesindeki deneyim, olağanüstü durumlar, rol ve teknoloji bağımlı değişkenleri ile muhasebe sürecinin dijitalleşmesinde etkili olan faktörlerden olan örgüt kültürü, telekomünikasyon altyapı ve hizmetleri, bilişim teknolojileri ve ekipmanı uygulama maliyetleri, veri güvenliği, erişim ve üçüncü taraflar arasında veri aktarımı ve işletmenin kullanabileceği finansal kaynaklara göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğinin araştırılmasına ilişkin 4 ana hipotez ve 24 adet alt hipotez geliştirilmiştir. Araştırma hipotezlerinin analizinde; varyansların homojenliği testi, One Way Anova ve Tukey testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın analiz sonuçlarına göre 24 adet hipotez kabul edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucuna göre muhasebenin dijitalleşmesinde muhasebe meslek mensuplarının dijitalleşme kararı; örgüt kültürü, telekomünikasyon altyapı ve hizmetleri, bilişim teknolojileri ve ekipmanı uygulama maliyetleri, veri güvenliği, erişim ve üçüncü taraflar arasında veri aktarımı, çalışanların bilgi iletişim teknolojileri becerileri ve işletmenin kullanabileceği finansal kaynaklar faktörlerinden etkilendiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. With globalization and the development of technology, digital developments have occurred. Digital developments have affected the accounting profession, as in every field, and brought new technologies. As a result of the developments, applications such as E-applications, Revenue Administration, Book Declaration System have begun to be used. The digital transformation in accounting has caused changes in the accounting profession and business processes. In this study, the role of professional accountants in the digitalization of accounting is revealed. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 371 professional accountants (28 Independent Accountants, 334 Independent Accountants and Financial Advisors and 9 Certified Public Accountants) operating in Antalya province and its districts. A survey form developed by Coman, Ionescu, Duică, Coman, Uzlau, Stanescu and State (2022) was used as a data collection tool in the study. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using IBM SPSS 20 program. Frequency analysis for the descriptive variables of the research, skewness and kurtosis test for the normality of the data, and Cronbach Alpha coefficient for the survey scale used were calculated. Experience in the digitalization of accounting, extraordinary situations, role and technology dependent variables, as well as organizational culture, telecommunication infrastructure and services, costs of applying information technologies and equipment, data security, access and data transfer between third parties, and financial resources available to the business, which are among the factors that are effective in the digitalization of the accounting process. 4 main hypotheses and 24 sub-hypotheses were developed to investigate whether there are differences according to In the analysis of research hypotheses; homogeneity of variances test, One Way Anova and Tukey test were used. According to the analysis results of the research, 24 hypotheses were accepted. According to the results of the research, the digitalization decision of accounting professionals in the digitalization of accounting; It has been concluded that it is affected by factors such as organizational culture, telecommunication infrastructure and services, information technologies and equipment application costs, data security, access and data transfer between third parties, employees' information communication technologies skills and financial resources available to the business.
